His skin crawled as her smell rooted him to the spot, but he forced himself to remain calm. It wouldn't look good if he leapt on her. It would damage his image, and that was something he could not afford to let happen. Especially when he was given this chance. Her hormones were obviously raging and she was right, the breeding season was almost over. Ed moved to stand behind her, he saw her head cock suggestively at him. That was all he needed. Grabbing her scruff in his jaws to steady himself, he mounted her.

It was true, he had no idea what he had just given her... Hope, reasurance, love, cubs, and most importantly a home. Since arriving to these lands her guard had been up in a solid wall that seemed unbreakable... Until her 'in heat' pheromones had kicked in. She softly scented the air, taking in his scent and the air around them as if for the first time... Acctually truth be told it was practicaly the first time, now that her hormones weren't raging on and making the air like smog before... But now her first intake of air upon these lands brought even more hope to her, scents filtering through her, new and exotic...
