Passing

A large figure padded through the lands. His eyes watched evreywhere, cautiously looking for other lions. He was a cat passing through and did not wish to attract others. The wind rustled the grass around him as he moved by. To his left, a herd of antelope grazed and it was hard to resist, but tyhe idea of being discovered kept him back. His paws silently hit the land as he walked, his eyes ever watching around him. Razi scented the air for others nearby and continued on when he did not detect anyone.

A small but lithe body rolled in front of the male. She rolled onto her feet and crouched down. Her ears where pinned to her skull as her blue eyes looked up at the huge male. The white femme forced herself up onto her feet, but her ears stayed pinned to her head H-hello sir. She said, then turned when she saw her mother come out of the bushes. The young cub looked at her mother for a long moment before back up at the male.

Sunset let out a roar before jumping in between her cub and then male. She growled shoved over her daughter as she scanned the male. Her ears were pinned onto her skull and she was now in her face. Sunset feared little, and males was the last thing on her list that she feared, especially when he cubs to Aubrey. She shoved her young cub into a bush and then stood up ground, her nose nearly touching the males. She glared at him, anger piercing in her eyes. She didn't want her daughter to see her this way, but she had to protect her, thats what a mother does.

Razi stepped back slightly as a she-cub rolled into his path. Her soft white coat shivered with fright when she saw him. Before he could reply to her hello, a large femme, probably her mother, shoved her into a bush. The lady growled at him and Razi stepped back uncertainly from her. He had just been passing through, met a she-cub, and now had her mother snarling in his face. Hello, ma'am. My name is Razi and I'm sorry if I scared you. His ears twitched nervously as he tried to control himself. I did not try to hurt your cub, she justed rolled into my path. Razi had made the gap between him and the mother a few tail-lengths long and he sat down, uncertain of what to do.

Sunet snorted. The last thing you did is frighten me! She snarled, her ears flat on her head. He sat down, her ears still back on he head, her tail twitching. She growled as she saw Aubrey poke her head out of the bush. She shovered her into the bush again before turning her gaze back to Razi Well go, if your just "passing through" She snorted

I'm Aubrey The cubs said, climbing out of the bush and sitting at her mothers feet. She looked at Razi and smiled, her tail twitching slightly.

Razi looked at the mother like something was wrong with her. You don't have to get all uptight about it you know. Razi sat down for a moment, relief from the traveling he had done. He smiled gently at the young cub as she came out of the bushes despite her mother's want for her to stay. Why hello, Aubrey. That is a very pretty name you have there. The large male watched the young cub happily. He liked her a lot and though that she would be quite nice to get to know. Razi pulled himself up, smiled at Aubrey before turning to her mother with a dull look on his face. Well, since you want me to go, I will. Good bye, Aubrey. Razi looked at the cub and turned away from the angry fae and nice cub, wishing he could have had the chance to know them better.

I'm sorry Sunset said, her ears flat on her head and her eyes looking up at the sky It's just, Asan gone and us lionesses are lost and stressed, we don't have time to just have fun anymore She said, a single tear running down her cheek. She lie down gracefully in the grass and looked at the male. She licked Aubrey's ear a few times before looking at Razi again I am truly sorry. Your right, I am being uptight... She said sadly, then let out a sigh, pushing Aubrey gently to the ground, she began to lick her body clean

Aubrey pulled away from her mother and ran in front of Razi Please stay She pleaded, looking at her sad mother with worried eyes. She looked back up at Razi and gave him a look with her blue eyes, they where filled with tears and pain, then she pulled her head down slightly and walked back over to her mother

Razi sighed and turned to the lioness. He smiled as little Aubrey ran infront of him. Of course I will stay. I was hoping to find a home here. The brute nuzzled the young she-cub, his eyes glittering happily. Razi turned to the mother and padded to her side. He settled to the ground and licked her ear. I understand what you are going through. My father left my mother after he realized she was pregnant. The lion sighed, his eyes clouded as he returned to the past in his mind. Razi smiled at the mother and her cub. Well I guess I can stay, but I need to know the name of the lioness who invited me to.

Sunset gently turned to his, her orange eyes locked with his gaze. She looked down at the ground and then up at him once more The name is Sunset She said softly, then pushed a bit closer and licked her mane a few times. She set her head on her paws and looked around as Aubrey seemed to dance around. The she-cub didn't seemed to notice her mother was in heat again, but that was probably for the best, Sunset knew she was to young to lean abut it yet.

Sunset licked her cub a few times when she had ran to her side, then she watched as her cub ran off again. Sunset eyed her little cub as she ran alittle farther away this time. She let out a sigh and shifted a bit, but that was simply cause she was becoming uncomfortable with her hormones raging and ever thing. She sighed again and shifted alittle more, then just decided to sit up. She pulled herself up and looked at Razi, her ears twitching nervously. She knew how most males were when they came across females in heat, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to be forced.

Razi relaxed himself as he watched young Aubrey stray. His eyes found Sunset's and he smiled generously. Sunset is a very pretty name. The lion noted that the lioness seemed uncomfortable with something and then it hit him. Lady Sunset was in heat. He smiled in understanding at the uncomfortable fae, his body remaining completely relaxed as though everything was fine and normal. His eyes watched as Aubrey strayed farther each time. He ignored that cub thing, for he wasn't about to in the way of Sunset's raising of the cub.

He raised himself into a sitting position as he saw Sunset's glance. Are you alright, Sunset? He knew she wasn't near being alright, but he still felt obligded to ask.

Your hopeless! She laughed, nudging his shoulder as Aubrey came near Stop Running so far Aubrey, unless you wanna go back to the res of the pride Sunset said, staring her daughter down. She looked at Razi and walked to the other side of his, rubbing her tail against his cheek Aubrey go back home would you? For Mommy She said to her daughter.

When she had convinced Aubrey to go back home she turned to Razi So do you have a mate? She asked, getting to the point. She sat down and shifted slightly, waiting for the males answer. She shifted again, then time into a laying position. She licked her paw a few times and looked up at Razi, and sweet smile spread across her face. She hated being in heat, fearing that she would be forced, she always had stayed near Asan when the time came around, but she could trust Razi, and if that trust was broken, she wasn't sure she would ever be able to trust any male again

Razi purred as he felt Sunset against him. He smiled as she shooed Aubrey away so they could talk. No, I don't have a mate.......yet. The large male peeked at Sunset, his eyes twinkling with what might happen. Ma'am, I must ask. Why do you want to know about my personal life? Razi teased the lady, his low voice kind and gentle. He stood and nuzzled Sunset's neck, his mind whirring with what might happen.

You really wanna know? The truth is.. Asan... I couldn't have to myself, he was Serena's boy toy. I want someone that I can have to myself, someone that will be there from when the cubs are newborns, to when they go their own way at 2. I want someone that will be there for Aubrey. Asan ran away cause he had to much on his mind, to many cubs to deal with. Well it was his problem, not any of ours She said gently, shiftling a bit and licking Razi's mane a few times. She relaxed alittle after she had told him what she had been feeling. It was all true, the only thing she need was a mate, and she was really being to like Razi...alot.

Razi pressed his body against Sunset's, drinking in her sweet clover like scent. I would be honored to father your cubs, Sunset. He smiled, his eyes twinkling as they gazed into hers. His large bulk was relaxed unlike usual males who were always uptight when it came to breeding. His dark tail gently rubbed against her leg in a nice rhythm. I am your's to command, Lady. Razi chuckled at his little joke, although he was quite serious about Sunset being in charge.

I know you would She said with a purr. Then stood up and lie down in front of him, her tail hitting his cheek slightly as she waited. Her heart seemed to be beating out of her chest. She knew Razi would never hurt her, and she knew she could trust him. She lie still as she waited, looking at cautiously to make sure nobody was around. She relaxed a little as she waited for it to be over and done with. The breeding part wasn't what excited her the most, it was the little tiny cubs that came after it. She turned her head slightly and smiled at Razi, before turning her head back to the front again and look at the land in front of her.

Razi watched silently as Sunset prepared herself for the mating part. He was starting to lose control over himself because of the hormones and he felt relief that it would be over soon. Razi slowly mounted her and it began.

Razi quickly dismounted and padded towards the area in front of her. He nuzzled her face, worry in his eyes that he might have hurt her. Are you alright Sunset? Razi felt concern for her, for even though he was six, he hadnever mated.
