Sunset smiled and licked his ear a few time I'm fine She said, then stood up slowly. HEr hormones had been satisfied and were not bothering her so much anymore.She grabbed his ear and pulled on it , then let go and smiled. She licked his cheek with love and then bounded away a ways. She smiled at Razi. She had found her soul mate. She let out a playful roar and then waited, her tail twitching beside her back leg. She let out another soft roar and then bounded away a little bit farther

Razi leaped after Sunset, his eyes dancing with pleasure. He had found a home and someone to live with. His heart felt light with joy as he chased after Sunset. He reached his side, then something dawned on him. Sunset, what are you going to tell Aubrey? Razi felt protective of the young cub now that he was her mother's mate.

She has a new dad that cares about her. As for cub wise, she will be excited to have some new siblings. Sunset said, nuzzling him kindly. She licked his ear as Aubrey popped out of the bush beside her. Sunset looked at Razi, praying to all her ansestors that Aubrey hadn't seen anything. She licked her cubs ear a few times and then lie down Razi is going to be your new daddy ok? And you'll will soon have some play mates Sunset said, careful to not say something wrong.

Aubrey seemed stunned for a moment, but then she smiled and climbed up Razi's back. She grabbed his ear and tugged on it. She licked the outside of his ear after tugging it and climbed off So where are my new brothers and sisters? She asked, looking for Razi to Sunset

Razi looked up startled as Aubrey appeared. Hi, Little One. He purred as she climbed onto his back. He nudged her as she got off and smiled. He felt unsure of how to answer her question so he looked at Sunset. He shrugged his massive shoulders helplessly before looking back at Aubrey. He raised himself into a sitting position beside his mate and daughter. Well Aubrey, your mother is going to answer that question because I have no clue. He gazed at his surroundings before looking at Sunset. He nuzzled her lovingly and gave her a lick on the ear. Sunset, who is leading the pride? The brute became serious because he was a male who liked to lead and not be one who was led by another.

Well Aubrey, your brothers and sisters haven't been born yet, they will be here in about two months She said gently. She smiled when Aubrey nodded and watched her bound away , back to the pride lionesses. Well there's Kalu and Kimba, but none of them around so really we have just been doing what we normally did when Asan was around. Cause he would tell us the days we babysit, the days we hunt, patrol, so we still follow that She said, returning his lick

Razi shook himself, laziness keeping him from standing. He gazed into Sunset's eyes, compassion and a hint of determination showing brightly in his. I do not think any pride should go without leadership. What would you think about me taking leadership? The brute was entirely at the mercy of his mate. He would not attempt to take control unless his mate didn't mind. The brute gently waved his tail from side to side for he had never been at someone's mercy before.

I would love if you took over, better then any male cause I know you wouldn't kill any of the cubs, even though most of them are Asan's, and the rest of Kimba and Kalu's, but most of the lionesses still beleive that Asan will return. Let them get use to you first, then we will think about getting the other females to look ooup at you as leader She said softly, her blue gaze meeting his, follwed by a sweet smile.

Razi smiled, his heart happy with the reassurance of his mate. I would never kill cubs because of their father. That would be wrong. It would be like killing Little Aubrey so I feel more comfortable mating you. It sounds so absured. The large brute wondered why lions would kill cubs. To him, cubs were the most precious things in the world. I wonder how the other lionesses would feel about me. Razi smirked as he thought about it.

Don't get your hopes up, those females are so hard headed She snorted, then grabbed his ear and tugged it gently.she licked the inside of his ear tenderly before laying down. She nudged him with her shoulder and then smiled sweetly. She set her head on his paw and let out a sigh. She licked his paw a few time before slowly closing her eyes, a purr rising her her throat.

I shall lead the Shujaa with Sunset by my side.

Razi snorted as he heard Sunset's comment. Hard headed! There is no such thing as a hard headed lioness, only a stubborn one. The brute smiled at his mate and gently pressed himself against her sweet clover scented fur. He sighed with a sort of dejection. Well, I guess I will have to rely on my good looks. The brute smiled at his mate and nuzzled her on the neck. He closed his eyes and let out a big breath.

Sunset's eyes flew open and she slowly looked around. She was in the pride cave, Razi right next to her. The pride had warmed up to him somewhat, but he wasn't trusted fully. Sunset stood up and streched. Her belly had got bigger and by the looks of it, she was going to have a big litter. The size she was now was about the size she was when she was 2 days away from having Aubrey! She let out a playful growl as she tugged Razi's ear and slowly walked out of the den, the morning sun hitting her face

Razi woke slowly as light streamed into the cave like a waterfall. He shook himself and stood, following his mate quickly. He reached her side and gave her a gently nip on the ear. His dark eyes danced in the morning light as the big brute looked around. His gaze traveled over to Sunset, her sleek form looking heavenly in the morning light. The dark brute came to her side, his tail rubbing lightly on her large belly.

Sunset smiled and licked his cheek. She sat down and looked around at her pride. She was devistated without Asan around, but she had Razi now, she didn't know why he missed the friady cat anyway. It was mostly because she had trusted him to father Aubrey, and then he left her fatherless. She snorted out loud and lie down on the hard suface of the rock. She looked up and Rzi and then turned as she was tramped on by a now 6 month old Aubrey

Razi stood beside his mate as she laid down on the hard ground. The brute remained uncomfortable in the land. Razi had always been a leader in his old pride and he had grown up as a cat with a dominant personality. He felt as though the very beat of his heart urged him to take control. It drove him crazy, yet the large male lion remained submissive to Vyess, the Shujaa Queen.

Sunset stood up and jumped off the huge smooth surfaced rock. She landed softly on the ground and she was to a patch of dirt. She lie down and began to roll around in the dirt, cooling off her body. She then stood up and shook off some of the dirt. She looked at the sky as the sun was cover by some clouds. rain She muttered, then sat down and looked at Razi with her sunset looking eyes
