Scorching rays of sun beat down upon this vast desert, baking the mud into clay, and making the sand into an impassible ground of heat that would burn your paws off. For the three days that the lone traveler had been here, there had not been a single animal, not even a lizard. Well, that's not entirely true. Some insane lion had mauled him over and told him that this place was haunted. Chinua had shoved the lunatic off and kept going. He could see why someone would go insane here. No matter where you went, it was like yo were all alone. There was not a sign of anything, not even water around here. Fierce night winds had even concealed large indentions of paw prints in the softer top soil by tossing the sandy brown grains here and there. Anyone here didn't want to be found, that much was obvious to the male as he looked around at all the empty space. It would be so easy to get lost here, and so easy to lose track of time. Oh well. Time is all that Chinua had to lose.
"If this is how the Orai is in the wet season, I don't even want to think about the dry season." Massive paws were moving at the slow pace of a walk, mouth was slightly open in what you could call a pant, and tail was swinging back and forth with obvious irritation. He'd been walking for ages and had been scorned from two prides, been attacked by some loony lioness, and now he was stuck out in the middle of no where with nothing to eat or drink, and no where to escape from the sun's infuriated rays. This was torture at its fullest, though Chinua would never admit that to any passing stranger. Not that he'd meet a stranger out here. He hadn't seen a darn thing this whole time, and his stomach was growling like never before. "Wretched place. I can't believe that lioness didn't tell me that it was inhospitable instead of saying there are demon haunts here! If I ever see her again..." A growl started from way back in his throat and rumbled his whole body.
Something green in the distance caught Chinua's eye. Could it be a tree? Maybe a bush that he could lay in? It didn't take much ton convince himself to run and find out. Mud closed, tail quit swaying, and legs started moving faster. Thump thump. Thump thump. Paws barely touched the shriveled up ground as appendages moved in a full run, at almost fifty miles per hour. "So close! It's getting bigger, though, if it's a tree it's going to be pretty small." Chinua kept on truckin' until it came into view full-size. "What?! A cactus! I ran toward a cactus! This is insane. I can't believe that it was a cactus." The male's deep voice was growled and yelled out from his vocal cords. In frustration, Chinua opened his mouth wide, threw up his head, and roared so loud that it shook his whole body and the ground he stood on. Disappointment was something Chinua was accustomed to, but this, this had gone to far. "There has to be someone out here that knows how to get away from this blasted place." Usually the male didn't want anyone to show him where to go, but this was a little different. If someone didn't show up, Chinua would go insane!

Vishar had been sitting in the hot shade of a rock. She had stopped here to casually rest. True it was hot but she didn't mind. It was cooler then the Marsh. She sighed and was about to doze off thanks to the heat when she heard someone call out. It sounded like a man in distress. She sighed and got up and walked slowly over towards where he had yelled from. As she came around from one side of the cactus she chuckled. "Why is it men never stop to ask for directions?" She asked. She sat down and watched the male with an amuzed look on her face. Her fur was soaked with sweat but she didn't mind. She wasn't here to impress anyone. She watched him and waited for an answer.

A beautiful female came into view, her muscles rippling every time she walked. Her white fur stood out from the scenery but she didn mind. She looked at the male and chuckled. Her blue eyes scanned him up and down before she sat, her white tail twitching slightly at the tip. She looked at the other female, and snorted slightly. Being stuck in the heat like she was made her hostile, so she hoped that nobody she met would take it personal. She sighed a shifted uncomfortably as her sat there. She looked at the male again up and down before she let out another sigh and lie down
You know, your not going to make it out alive if you keep trying to run into cactus. She chuckled to him, then lifted her white paw and licked it slightly, then pulled it over her beautiful face and then set it down. She turned her head and began to lick her beautiful form, her pink, rough tongue acting like sand paper against her skin. She sighed and set her head lightly on her white paws, her maw slightly open as she took in some breaths on the hot air

Chinua looked down and started speaking in exasperation."I thought I told you I don't believe in..." He stopped short when he glanced at the lioness. " Wait. You're not her." Eyes narrowed at her question; was that supposed to amuse him? Being him, Chinua snorted a sarcastic laugh and countered her question with another question."Why is it that women ask so many questions?," Chinua hissed with all the intentions of slapping that amused expression of her face. The brute was definantly in a bad mood, but perhaps he'd get over it. Huffing out a deep breathe, Chinua plopped his hind quarters onto the ground. He wasn't going to pretend to be 'high and mighty' or try to defend his pride. After all, she'd obviously seen, or heard, what had happened with the cactus.
"Hmmm... She's kind of dark for a lioness. Not to mention sweaty. I wonder how long she's been out here. Hold on! If she's out here, she knows her way out. Possibly." If the sun could, it would probably be laughing at him, too, but it had its own way of doing that. Somewhere a cicada started to play its little song, making it seem even hotter out here. Now, Chinnua isn't one to complain, but this was just one of those times when everythng had gone wrong. "Another lioness come to laugh it seems." The large male sighed. He just couldn't win, could he? How do you know that I wasn't looking for a cactus? I mean, their very... useful. Eyes diverted to look at the cactus. Who was he fooling? A cactus is a cactus. Spiney. Green. Good for nothing. He chuckled to himself when he saw the two femme's. One darker than average and one white. Yin and Yang. "I bet they don't get a long." Chinua thought with amusement. Finally, something to lighten his mood.

Vishar smirked at the other female. What was she doing out here anyways. A priscy princess like her shouldn't be out here. She just simply didn't belong! She noted the snort and growled slightly. "Well...its obvious that your just not comfortable out here...which, you don't belong." She said smirking. She wasn't one to be rude...too often but she could be. She watched the girl with a firey temper. This one just thought she was the shit. Vishar looked over to the male finally. "I'm on my way out. I'll show out." She offered.

Aubrey ignored the female, mostly to make her angry. She smiled and stood up, shaking her white fur. Her blue eyes locked with his eyes and she smiled ok.. She laughed, then walked to his side and sat down beside him, her tail lashing.SO what are you doing out here She said kindly, licking his ear slowly and gently. She smiled and wrapped her tail around his before letting it go and walking away slightly. She was bored, yes, and found she had a knack for making females made a messing around with males. But this time she was doing all this because it was about time she found a mate, she was nearly 2 1/2. She sat down and twitched her ears, a smile spread gently across her face

Vishar walked towards the ignorant female. "You know kitten, females like you have only sex appeal. You don't have any real brains...For if you did, you would know that dumb blondes like you only get raped." She said smiling. This pety little kitten couldn't hurt her. "Your mother must have been lovely to behold. I don't know what the hell happend to you." She said circling the female. "Well you kiddies have fun!" She said winking at Chinua. "Best wishes." She said heading to the west. Towards where the sun would set. It was the quickest way to get out of this hell hole.

Chinua took a deep breath and sighed with an emotion between boredom and contempt. Temptation was pulling at his every want, but this wasn't the temptation it should have been The male wasn't won for... that kind of activity when he barely even knew the lioness. In that way, Chinua was different from the masses of uncaring lions; at least he had what he called decency. Teach them a lesson in his own way. Already an idea had formed in his head about the white femme. Yes, she was beautiful, a temptation for sure, but she seemed to like to mess with males. That was just how it appeared, though. As she licked his ear, a growl formed in his throwt, but he snuffed it out. Claws inched themselves from his paws. Chinua rose and wound around her, teasing her if you will, and spoke calmly as he could.
"Do this often kitty?" Muscles flexed under his dark golden coat, which is exactly what he was going for. A game of his own was in order, though the outcome of it was unknown to him. Better to cheat and win than not cheat and lose, at least, that's his mind set. Dark eyes found their way to the Vishar. He was telling her to wait; he still needed to find a way out, and she was his ticket, not that he'd use anyone like that. His game didn't involve finding a mate, that would just be losing, in his point of view. Chinua then turned back to Aubrey, obviously waiting for an answer.

As Vishar glanced back at Chinua only to see that he gave her a look that said to sit tight. She sighed while rolling her eyes. She couldn't leave this poor man to rot in the desert. She sat down and let her tail flop down infront of her. She sighed and waited. What was this going to turn into.
Vishar had something in common with this male. She was with out a doubt in no hurry to find a mate. She just wanted to live her life how she saw fit. She didn't need to deal with having extra baggage. She watched the two with litte more then disinterest.

Chinua chuckled a bit at the way Vishar had responded; at least she saw things about his way. Waiting for a complete stranger, let alone a male, is not something you see everyday. The brute did have to admit, though, that this white feline was very beautiful. Leaving her here all alone seemed like such a crime. Maybe they'd meet up again some other time, when Chinua hadn't made a complete fool of himself. Dark optics washed over to form of Aubrey in an attempt to decide whether to answer her question or not.
"I was just wandering around, as I have nothing else to do these days, when I came across this place." Chinua had tried to tell the truth, yeah... right. His business was his own, not someone else's, and he knew it. What he was doing was for him to know, and no one else to ever find out. No one would ever care anyway, so Chinua didn't see it as a crime to tell a little white lie.

Vishar raised an eye brow. "Okay...this popcicle stand is leaving...nnnnnow!" She said getting up and turning on the two. She hated to see this lovey dovey shit. She walked towards the west. She smiled as the sun started to set. She needed to go home. She missed Lothril and needed to see her queen. Not to mention, Crow had joined. She knew he would. He fancied Lothril. She just hoped her Queen would accept his invitation.
