Once the lioness stopped, Lothril quickly came upon her. She halted her own steps only two or three feet away, staying at a stand and watching the stranger for a moment. Yes, she was quite frightened. It appeared she did not realize why taking another pride's food was such a problem. If she did, Lothril doubted she would have taken the chance. When the Queen spoke, her voice, like before, was stern and kind at the same time. You do not have to fear--though I can well understand why you may be. However, hunting on another's land is not well-looked upon and could have resulted in your death if it was another pride.
An ear twitched backward, listening for Crow and marking any movements. Having a male around again was...comforting. There was something about the presence of an adult lion that brought a feeling of security to her, and to the whole pride. No matter how strong a lioness was, the fact remained that males were stronger--and their power was something a group could rely on. The Akina pride though, seemed to have trouble keeping any--and Lothril had no idea why.
Attention turned back to the lioness, and Lothril spoke again, trying to reassure her. You will not be hurt for this though--you seem to be perfectly innocent in your actions and only in need of food. I cannot deny one lioness that. She glanced toward Crow, before her gaze focused once again on the one in front of her, speaking again with careful words. You may have the prey you caught, and I give you permission for any future hunts. However... Lothril halted, considering her words. ...joining my pride will give you complete access, without question, to our lands. A slight grin appeared on her face. And--you will not have to worry about another meeting like this.

Crow haulted only a few feet behind Lothril and sat down. He laid down and crossed his paws only to make it seem that he would not be overly agressive. He purred lightly and watched Lothril as she talked with the young female. This girl had much to learn if she would survive on ones lands. She needed to learn Pride Manners. However he knew that Lothril would look the other way. It was in her nature. But she did not turn a blind eye on the matter entirly. He watched and as she looked back at him he gave her a reassuring smile. This was why she was a leader. She was fair to her pride and all potentials.

Kamunyak lifted her head and her ears flickered back and forth. She got up and sat up straight but put her ears back, but hundged her shoulders. " Thank you, so how many females are in your pride?[/b]" She paused for a little while. " I will join your pride... But what would your pride mates think?[/b]" She started to feel abit more ressured about joining ones pride. She gulped alittle, but that would go in due time. As the older lioness had said it was only for food she walked onto ones land. She looked past the older female shoulder and saw a male. She flinched alittle, but there was no need to worry... He probarly was there to resure the female. She smiled nervously and belly crawled to get the last bits of carcass left. She grapped it in her jaws and looked to it, and then back to the female. " So would you accept me in your pride?[/b]" She asked with a mouthful of wilderbeest. She waited for her to reply

An eyebrow rose, even as a surge of satisfaction pulsed through Lothril at the new member's decision. Why would she even ask if Lothril would accept her? But seeing that she wanted an answer, the Queen gave it readily. Of course I will--I asked you to, didn't I? Her tone was humored, nut the golden lioness was already counting the number of females in her pride. There are eleven lionesses, counting myself and you. And don't worry--they will welcome you as part of the family.
Settling her haunches to the green ground, Lothril's held tilted curiously. For give me--I am Lothril, and this-- she nodded toward the male behind her-- is Crow, our oldest male. Having caught the other's nervous glance at him, Lothril quickly worked to dispel that feeling. Don't worry abut him--he's much too senile to cause any harm. She turned her teasing gaze toward Crow, a light smile on her face as she attempted to lighten the other's feelings about him.

|ooc| : So much for giving Sileree a rest! xD
Ah...Lions. She hadn't been a very good member of the pride for this past week, Sileree realized that. " Well, I was sick. What was I to do? " He smell accompanied her as it always did, cinnamon and citrus. But this time the overwhelming heat scent came with her. She had just soaked herself in water, and her fur was still wet but the smell was relentless despite her futile attempts to cool it. Her elegant smile twitched onto her face as she saw the small, informal meeting going on. A pity nobody had invited her. Amusement flickered like a small flame in her golden eyes and she walked, or rather danced, up to them all. She looked at Lothril and bowed her head in respect before eyeing Crow. Her voice, when she spoke was full of laughter. Something that hadn't been there last time they met. She was also not flinching at the sunlight.
Alright, Crow?
She asked, smiling over at him. So that old rogue had decided to stick around. Well, they could certainly use him. But she had not an inkling of her old, mild interest in him. After all, Sileree had Thorn now, didn't she? And he was all that accupied her mind these days. Although she had the sense to keep it from the others. Especially Lothril. She didn't want the Queen to get upset at the fact that there was a rogue hanging around these parts, or to spike her interest in him either. She stayed silent, slightly behind Lothril and yet not in her shadow. Sileree still looked ill and uncomfortably thin, but her misery had left. The shadowy grace was still there though and she gazed with her eyes half shut, exceedingly calm, at everyone. Her head was tilted in a graceful fashion, her posture slightly slumped with fatigue but her eyes were lit with vigor and she still smiled. [/blockquote]

Crow smirked playfully as he got up and watched Lothril and her comment. He shouldered her playfully and then turned to the young lioness. "Hello." He said. His voice was deep and smooth. It was a voice of pure art. If one was caught off gaurd they could melt at the sound of his voice. He purred and watched both of the beautiful lioness at his side and before him.
Soon however the smell...that smell...came to his nose. His eyes widened and he turned his head to see Sileree. 'Control...stay in control! You're not some mindless machine.' He thought to himself. But that smell was so hard to ignore. And then of course the smell of well...just her made it even harder. He was a man...what could you expect...and being a casanova made it even harder to IGNORE the smell. He just simply smiled and kept a watch on her. Then at a last moment he turned back to Lothril.

Kamuyak smiled sweetly to Lothril. She smelt somethig, but it was the smell of sweaty lioness. She rubbed her nose with her paw and watched a another lighter golden lioness that walked in. Kamu watched her and then her amber orbs came across the older male. His voice was calm and comforting. She smiled and bowed to her new queen. " Boy, i would love to be in your pride![/b]" She giggled and smiled to Crow. " Oh look at me being all newby - [/b]" She said giggleing with a nervous smile. " Im Kamuyak, im a lone female and i thank you for letting me into your pride[/b]" Her tail flickered and she let out a yawn.

ooc: Post with whoever you want Naday.
Lothril stumbled slightly at Crow's playful shove, but she quickly regained her feet, casting him an amused look. She had not expected that, and the larger male had easily caught her off guard. Leaning in, she raised her paw to swipe at his shoulder--with claws sheathed, of course--but halted the movement when the male stiffened and turned his head. A moment later, she heard Sileree speak and caught her scent, and the Queen turned to face her as well.
A larger smile than normal pulled at her muzzle and she spoke in a pleasant tone. I'm glad you have decided to return to us. It has been almost boring without you about. The gaunt lioness seemed...different, somehow--though Lothril could not place exactly what it was. Her voice, her entire way of bearing herself had changed--and for the better. Although she definitely wondered what had caused this shift, the golden lioness was simply happy that this much loved and respected pride member had found some sort of peace.
Lothril's kind gaze fell on Kamunyak as she spoke up again. No words came from her mouth, but her entire being was calm and welcoming. The day was proving to be quite a good one--two new members and one was showing herself again. Granted, Lothril had known Crow beforehand and at least thought he would end up joining the pride, but it was still a nice moment. And Kamunyak--she showed much promise, as every new member did.

Her smile broadened, and Sileree gave an unveiled look at Crow and Lothril. Mouth baring a suppressed mischevious grin, the lioness flicked her tail in amusement. Her whole body showed that she clearly wanted to burst into a fit of giggles, but was too reserved and restrained to show such un lady-like behavior.
I'm glad to see you have...Made friends, my lady.
A smirk passed over her face, but she let it pass and soon her cool smile was back in place. Her tone was teasing and she hoped the other wouldn't mind it. It had been almost two years since Ibalo had left, but Sileree respected her Queen's loyalty to her mate and left her hints at that last phrase. Looking to Kamu with interest, Sileree mimiced Lothril's calm and welcoming stance. For a lioness who had started out as a makeshift bodyguard of the Queen on her first day, Sileree was even surprised at how easy it was to be a Pride member these days. Glancing a Lothril and smiling appreciatively at her, her facial expression clearly showing what she was reminiscing about. Trying to mask her spicy scent, and noticing Crow's look, Sileree's face darkened and she changed subtly. Her frame was no longer inviting but a little guarded. It screamed royalty in every line and she straightened from her relaxed hunch, face showing a barely concealed suspicion and a scowl that was evident. She was not his for the taking, and she wanted to make that clear. Authority that she wasn't sure was appropriate emanated from her. It was not right to be commanding when her Queen was around, but this was a matter of her dignity and her pride and no two things were more important to her at the moment. [/blockquote]

Crow smiled and watched all three lioness' he was proud to be a member. And he wouldn't betray the trust of the pride. He sat straight. Tense. The scent of the female tickling his senses. Teasing and haunting him. He purred slightly at the thought of her. He stood. Anyone could tell he was very uncomfortable. "My ladies, if you will excuse me, I must be going. I'll meet you back at the lands." He said and slowly made his retreat.

ooc: *prods Kamu* It's been over ten days since the last post, so I'm going to take my turn. Since this one seems to be losing interest, I'll try to end it.
She blinked at Sileree's words, taking in the meaning the sending a curious glance at Crow. No, the other lioness' teasing did not bother her, but she did wonder what she saw in this. Nevertheless, her own inviting smile slid back on. What is life if there is no one to share it with? Her soft laugh was halted when she noticed the stiffening of both Sileree and Crow. Brow furrowed for only a moment before realization dawned. Of course... Nothing needed to be said though, for Crow was suddenly saying farewell, leaving the women alone. She was...grateful...that the one male in Akina thought highly enough of them to control himself--it spoke highly of his character, in her opinion.
Lothril watched Crow's retreating form for a moment, before turning her attention back to Sileree. I am glad to see you back. You look... She paused, trying to find the correct word. You look happier--and I"m glad of it. She glanced up at the sky, noticing the movement of the sun. It was getting late, a wonderful time to hunt--but she had eaten recently and no longer needed food. Glancing at the other two ladies, Lothril spoke once more, turning on her heel at the same time. Perhaps we should return also...though maybe take a longer road--just to give us girls a time to chat? A chuckle followed that statement. It would be a good chance to bond, thereby making the family closer and stronger.
