Can i?? Nadayshana Nadayshana sat under a tree and watched other lioness and lions walk by. She hadnt known anyone. She layed there thinking about home. She didnt want to go back. But in order to live here, she needed to make friends. She got up and stretched. She didnt really know who to go ocer and just randomly start asking them questions. Great she had no idea what to do. Nadayshana sat back down. Uh..... She needed someone to talk to. Anyone would do. Maybe someone would come to me. But then again I highly doubt that. She needed to talk to herself once in a while. She looked around again trying to see if anyone was alone. But nope... she was the only one. She looked up at the sky. It was a nice day out. She looked at the clouds. She remembers doing that with ehr father. They used to see what they looked like. But now she only did that if she had time. Nadayshana was getting tired. She yawned and roared at the same time. Oh great...not again. Hopefully no one looked at her funny. She looked around once more. Now she was becoming really bored. She about to run around sayin Look at me im a loser!!! But she didnt. She just sat there waiting for someone to talk to.

Aubrey nodded her head slightly to Tari, a smile on her face. She looked at Keira and then sighed. She was quit bored and wished there was something to do. She let out another sigh and watched as the older lioness left in search of a male. She let out a chilling sigh when she looked at Keira and she told her short tale. I'm sorry. I know of a female that just joined Truth's pride, she was born blind, she is very nice and very experienced Aubrey said slowly, not wanting to offend Keira in any way.
Aubrey looked around and then up at the sky, then clouds where slowly rolling together. So...how is everything going in your pride Tari? Aubrey asked politely. She also wanted to know who else new of Asan disappearance, but she didn't ask. It was kind of an embarrassment to have a father that just left without saying good-bye. The pride is a wreck, one of the many reasons she left. If any pride were to attack them, they would be screwed, having no leader to lead them in battle. She let out a sigh of frustration at Asan for abandoning them like that.

A startled blink as Tealver padded away was Tari's only reaction. That was...sudden. As the older lioness slipped through the brush and out of the young princess' sight, she allowed herself a short shrug and cast a glance toward the others. Well...that was quick. A little lost at the sudden turn of events, Tari listened to Keira's story, her eyes widening a bit. Well, she had been right--Keira hadn't always been blind. Although normally she would have said something, the lioness got the feeling pity wouldn't be much appreciated, so she kept her mouth shut.
At the sound of yet another stranger coming into the lands, Tari looked around expectantly, soon finding the new one sitting a short distance away. Her muzzle opened to greet her and ask what her business was--out of curiosity more than anything else--but the voice of Aubrey cut through, and she turned her head at the question. Things are going...as good as can be expected. A wry grin crossed her face, one that held no humor in it at all. Within a year, we have been abandoned by three kings, my own father included. Surely such information wasn't news though--Tari figured that most prides would be well aware of Akina's strange situation. Just as she was aware of Asan's own disappearance. Tari knew quite well what the pride must be going through--the instability, the worry over any new males in the area. It could be very tiring. A smile of understanding crossed her face, though she said nothing of Asan.
Curiosity at Keira's purpose and of her pride struck her then, and Tari glanced toward her. And how are things with you and your home? The question was worded carefully as she made sure to keep any bitterness out of her voice. That Lothril's family was not on very good terms with part of the Ari royal family was probably well-known by now--but tari rather liked Keira, and had no wish to offend her.
ooc: Gah...that was a not so fun post to force out.

A grin flickered across Keira's face, and she padded a little closer to Tari so she wouldn't need to raise her voice. How where things at her home? Whoa...Well, she hadn't been at home a whole lot, so how was she to know? But she wasn't going to be rude, so she smiled mildly and shrugged.
Well...I'm not at home much. I don't like it there. But I daresay unless Brooke is doing something stupid everything is well. I'm sorry about all those king's leaving Akina. It seems like a very nice, stable pride so I can't imagine why. Much...Much better than our Pride.
Her voice was softer towards the end of her speech, and it was a little bitter. Only a little though, and Keira brought her head up from staring at the ground. She thought it was a pity that the Akina had no king. Alethea had no queen and the Shujaa had no king. Suddenly, and very unexpectedly, Keira said abruptly,
I think it's silly how we separate ourselves like his. Look at the Alethea and the Shujaa, Truth can't handle all those lions by himself and Vyess needs help. I don't understand why we can't all help each other out. But I suppose that's why we call them 'Prides'. Because we're too damn proud to help others. When I rule, it won't be like that.
Her expression was sharp and she tried to look at Tari but ended up staring a little to her left. She didn't like that fact that she was the only one on good terms with the other Prides. Vyess was kind to her, Truth was her uncle, Hathor was her father and she was an acquaintance of the daughter of Lothril. Hathor was on good terms with Vyess and Lothril, but he had friction with his brother. Angel and Lothril hadn't been very friendly, she hadn't met Vyess or Truth. Brooke...Brooke was just thought a child by all the Prides and frankly, it was embarrassing to Keira. Harleigh was practically a stranger to everybody. A breeze swept Keira a few steps away, and her cheeks burned as she tripped. Catching herself from falling, the lioness sat down instead. Grimacing in embarrassment, Keira thought about how to put what she wanted to say. Breathing in deep, calming breaths, she finally came up with something.
Listen, you don't suppose your mother would let me join the Akina? I can hunt pretty well for a blind lioness, and my sight comes back a little bit every day.
She felt vulnerable, she felt weak. Keira was exposed, and she hated being like this. Keeping her gaze level and unblinking, she stared hard ahead. [/blockquote]

Nadayshana just got up and walked around. She tried to find someone to talk to. She was walking and tripped over a rock. She stumbled and fell. Haha....can this day get any worse. Oh but it did. She stood up and her paw hurt. She didnt care and kept walking on it. Now she walked with a limp. She walked over to a tree and layed under it. She licked her paw and looked around. She was going to get a stick and a big leaf. Nadayshana was going to wrap her paw. But after a while, it didnt feel so bad. It still hurt but she had to get over that. She stood back up and walked around some more. She saw a whole bunch of them talking. She wished she had someone to talk to.
She saw a rock and climbed up on it. She layed there and licked her paw some more. It was a little swollen. She didnt think it was broken but it might be. Nadayshana yawned a loud yawn. She alread embarressed herself that shouldnt have done anything different. She stodd on the rock and stretched. Her bones ached for some reason. Some cracked and some just stretched more. She layed back down and her eyes were wide open, looking for something to do.

Aubrey felt bad for Tari, she didn't know how it felt to have three kings leave one of them being her father, but her father had left as well, and frankly, she missed him..alot. I'm sorry Tari, then must be hard... You probably already know that Asan left.. She said, her white ears going down slightly. She looked at Kiera and listened to her. She was right, if only everyone could get along. If only nobody would wander away, if only nobody would get killed. If only this, if only that, life was not perfect and Aubrey would just have to accepted it. She let out a sigh and listened to the princesses. Aubrey felt bad in a way for Kiera. She had always wanted a sister and Kiera had one, but they didn't get along at all. Aubrey had met Brooke once before and she seemed really sweet, but then again, that was just her opinion
On a brighter note, my mother is finally happy with a male named RaziShe said, then muttered And she doesn't have to share him either Aubrey knows her mother was heartbroken over Asan. She had true feelings for that male, but he was so wrapped up around Serena's paw he hadn't even notice who truly love it. But knew that he wasn't the right one for her mother, Razi was. And she's expecting cubs She said with a smile. The pride needed new cubs, badly. Aubrey didn't know if they cared about the personal life of her mother, but she said it, and you can't take back words. She sighed and smiled, her tail twitching as its tip. She shuffled her white paws around and then looked around and let out another sigh. Life was a drag for Aubrey. Her mother had Razi, and everyone else seemed happy. But what did she have? She turned her head again, and thats when she spotted Naday
Do you know that Lioness Tari? She asked the princess. She seemed familiar, but she couldn't but her paw on it. She shrugged it off and looked at Tari before gazing back at Naday. The lioness seemed like she had a hurt paw, for it looked swollen and she was licking it. She was in the distance but it wasn't hard to tell what she was doing. Aubrey eyed her some more as she waited for Tari's answer. She sighed, keeping her gaze on the female. Maybe Aubrey would get to see Tari welcome her into the pride, if the female wanted to anyway. She could watch Tari and get a few tips on how to be better had convincing them to join the pride. She had only done it once, and if it weren't for her mother, the lion probably would have left. Her tail twitch a bit more as she waited for Tari to speak or do something. [/blockquote]

For Tari, it was strange to hear that Keira, a princess of her lands, was often away from her pride. But then again, her parents had each other to help rule the Ari. Lothril, on the other hand, had only herself, and so her daughters had taken it upon themselves to help out. Tari couldn't help but think the loss of family--a son and brother, a father and mate--pulled the remaining three into a close-knit group. They relied on each other more than other families did, it seemed. A slight flush spread over her features when Keira spoke of Akina's stability, and when she spoke it was a soft mumble. Only through the efforts of my mother does it remain so.
When Aubrey's voice reached her, Tari turned her gaze on the white lioness with a shrug. Things happen--we just have to learn to live on and survive. The young girl's soft tread took her to Aubrey's side, where she nuzzled her neck softly in understanding and when she spoke, Tari's whispered voice was only for her to hear. I do know--and I know what it is to lose a father. It's hard to accept, but it will get easier--believe me. There was a reassuring smile as the princess stepped back, and then she turned so all were in her sight again.
Upon hearing Keira's sudden statement, Tari glanced toward her, listening attentively. Yes...it would be nice if everyone could just help each other out--but it was so very hard to keep the peace between members in a large group. Inevitably, fights would break out and before you knew it, there would be a separate opposing group that wanted to get rid of the first. Maybe prides were just there to actually keep everything calm. For instance, if the incident between Lothril and Angel had happened in the same pride, it could have very easily torn the group apart--maybe even resulting in deaths. But since they did not, and Angel eventually found her own pride, the two were separated and thus internal difficulties in their groups were avoided--essentially providing a safe home for children to grow up in.
...or maybe Tari was just crazy. Not exactly sure how to word her thoughts, Tari still attempted. In a perfect world, such a thing would work. But sadly, such a place is not our home, and no matter how hard we try, people grow to hate one another. Think of a pride as a way of keeping those people separated. She offered a small smile and gave a slight shrug. She was not really sure if her opinion made sense to herself!
Aubrey's tones came to Tari's ears again, and a wide grin appeared on her face. Children were wonderful! I am happy for your mother, and for you! I would that my own mother would be that lucky. Despite what some may think, joy still filled Tari's voice as she spoke of her mother. Long ago, she accepted what happened, and what it would mean for her mother--and long ago, she realized that hoping for her mother to love another would not do any good.
When Keira next spoke, Tari could only stare at her, so thrown off guard she was. What was Keira thinking? How would her family react to their daughter joining a different pride--much less, one in which relationships were rather strained? But then...maybe having the Ari king's daughter and sister in Akina would cool things down...Though Tari did not particularly like Angel, the young diplomat knew that such feelings often had to be put aside for the good of everyone else. And if having two of their family members willingly in Lothril's pride would keep Ari and Akina from tearing each other apart...well, it was worth it--and besides, Tari would love to have another lioness in the pride that was her age!
Tari grinned as she spoke, her soft tones coming easily. My mother would love having you--and I'm sure Sileree would as well! We have heard storied of blindness heightening other sense--perhaps you'll be able to give us a few pointers? The grin slipped as she came to her next point though. But you are sure this will not cause any...problems, between our families?
As she questioned Keira, Tari was dimly aware of Aubrey's own question. With an apologetic glance--forgetting that Keira could not see it--she faced the newcomer she actually had noticed earlier. Like Aubrey, Tari's quick eyes soon caught sight of the injured paw, and without another thought, she spoke. Are you alright? That paw looks like it hurts. Suppressing her desire to hurry over and see if everything was fine, she instead stayed where she was and cast a swift glance toward Aubrey. I have never seen her. But if she needs help, she will have it. She spoke firmly and authoritatively, a tone of voice that rarely showed itself in her.
