Taariq layed by his "mates" side. He liked her alot but didnt know hoe she felt about him. She smiled and looked into her eyes. Taariq then looked up at the nice clear sky. His paw was slightly on hers. He licked her cheek then looked back at her. Taariq laughed a little to himself. He didnt know what they were. Together they were infinate. They would always laugh and nothing went wrong. They have been talking for a year. They werent really friends. They were a lot more then that. But niether of them knew it. Neither one of them wanted to say i love you to the other. Taariq was afraid she didnt like him the same way. He silisntly sighed and purred. his purr was low and from his throat. He nuzzled Harlieghs neck and stood up slowly. He stretched and looked down at Harliegh and gave a smile. He sat down as his tail swayed back and forth. The sun was gleaming down on them and the wind blew lightly towards them. His mane blew in the air. Taariq closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Smelling the morning dew on the ground. His muscles aiching from being in the same possition for a while. It felt like he was getting to old. Taariq laughed a little and smiled down at Harliegh.
He wondered if he should just say it. Taariq looked away before he didnt anything drastic. He sighed as his tail stopped swaying and his ears twitched. His head turned in both directions looking for something. Nothing was there but a heard of Buffalo. Taariq thought that there was something or someone there that wasnt really wanted. His shoulders shrugged as he layed back down next to Harliegh. Taariq smiled. Teeth showing and a twinkle in his eyes. He knew he was acting a little wierd. But that only because he really liked her. His eyes softly looking at her as he spoke. So...How are you this morning? He talked in his loving and soft affectionate voice. All he wanted to say as i love you. But he didnt want to make her nervous or have her say she doesnt love him back. |

Taariq and Harliegh...
[/font] Harliegh slowly stood up and smiled at Taariq. She was bold a brave, and had to tendency to say things, even if the other person didn't feel the same. But this was different. When ever she was around Taariq, she was tongue tied. She loved the 100 pound lion, but she wasn't sure how to tell him. She was merely a teenager, slowly reaching her adulthood, and she had already found the guy of her dreams. She walked over to Taariq and licked his cheek gently, then sat down beside him, her tail twining with his. My morning has been good She said with a smile. She stood up and smiled, then turned around and rubbed her body against his, which was kinda weird, for he was sitting. She rubbed her tail under his chin gently and then walked over to his head once more. She wasn't sure what she was about to do, but even though she had butterflies in her stomach, she felt it was the right thing to say. She slowly moved her muzzle to Taariq ear and gently whispered I love you She then lowered her muzzle and met his gaze for a moment before she looked at her paws and began to walk away, her tail rubbing under his chin once more.
She looked behind and gave him a smile, her eyes dancing with happiness. She looked ahead of her as a herd of zebra past her, then stopped to graze. She crouched down, her tail twitching behind her, her ears flicking. She began to slowly stalk a elderly zebra, and then, when she felt she was close enough, she darted, her muscles bunching as she ran after the scattered herd of zebra. She spotted the zebra she had been stalking, and pushed her muscles to get her to catch up to the zebra. She let out a roar of frustration and pounced, her claws digging into the back of the elderly zebra. She moved forward, farther up its back, making it crash to the ground. It tried to get up, but Harliegh quickly bit its neck, ending its suffering. She looked back at Taariq, which was smaller then a cub from where she stood. She snorted and stood up, picking the animal up by the neck. She held her head up high as she trotted back to Taariq. She rubbed her body against his, the zebra still in her mouth, then set it down and looked at him Want some? She asked. He had not said anything since she said she had loved him, and frankly, she was worried he didn't feel the same way, but she wasn't going to let that crush her. She looked at him for a moment longer before she turned to the zebra and began to tear it apart Their hearts beat as one...[/center][/blockquote] |

Taariq looked over at her as she talked. Well thats good. He smiled rubbed up against his eyes widend and his smile grew a little larger. He looked behind him as she left. Now he knew his answer. She did love him. He relaxed mroe now and watched as she went to hunt. He was speechless. She watched as she came back. Taariq smiled and instead of saying yes, he said what he should say. He took a deep breath. I love you too Harliegh.... He then licked her cheek and looked at her then at the Zebra. Taaria slowly bent down and took a chunk out of the Zebra and layed down. Taariq only ate the chunk and then watched Harliegh smiling. He licked the blood off of his teeth and muzzle. When most of it was off, he sat back up and looked around for something to do. He watched Harliegh and smiled wider. He was glad that she felt the same about them being together. He layed ack down yawning. He shook his head trying to wake up. Honestly....i didnt think you felt th same way... But i am really glad you do.... Taariq couldnt believe what he had just said. But he said it. He just wanted to let Harliegh know that he really did care.
(( Sorry for the shortness. The whole uncle thing is like blah. lol And sorry if its boring. ))

[/font] Harleigh laughed Thats because you a male Taariq She said with a chuckle. She grabbed his ear gently and tugged on it, then nudged him with her shoulder. She smiled and licked his neck a few times, feeling warm by the comfort of his man on her cheek. She then pulled away and began to eat the zebra she had caught, her stomach growling badly. When she had eaten all she could, half was gone and the other half was just sitting their, waiting for Taariq to eat it. Man your a slow eater! She said, her eyes full of humor. She suddenly felt like getting into trouble as she sat their, grooming the blood off her paws. She looked into the distance at a herd of elephants. She was about to get up, but she stopped her self when she remember that an elephant had made her little sister blind. She sighed and went back to her groom, no pulling her paw gently over her face. She didn't enjoy grooming, but it helped keep her nice a pretty...for Taariq that is. She smiled when she finished grooming herself, and moved closed to Taairq, their pelts rubbing together. She set her head on his paw, then slowly rolled over, she now her eyes where looking at Taairq chin. She knew that when he looked down, they would touch noses, and that was her plan. She began to purr as she waited for him to look down, and she slowly rolled over to her side and began to lick his chest gently, her eyes slowly closing[/size] Their hearts beat as one...ooc|| Its alright Naday ^^[/center][/blockquote] |

Taariq smiled at Harliegh and laughed. True...I am one of those.. Taariw smiled at Harliegh. Taariq laughed as she tugged on his ear. Taariq looked at her as she nudged him. He smiled and ate some of the Zebra. Taariq looked up and raised and eyebrow. Well...i actually like to taste my food! He said jokingly. He felt her fur on his body and he smiled. He looked at her and looked back at the Trees and the sky. He looked down and thier nose touched. He smiled and looked around. he then felt her tongue on his chest. Tariq looked down and licked her cheek as she was sleeping. Only you Harliegh. He smiled and nuzzled her neck. He yawned and put his head close to hers. But he couldnt go to sleep. he lifted his head again just staring at Harliegh. Taariq smiled as he did. Gorgous.... He said softly while looking at Harliegh. He giggled and put his head back down. He yawned a big yawn and shook his head. His eyes slowly closing. Taariq was soon sound asleep next to his true love. Taariq smiled in his sleep knowing that Harliegh would always be with him.
