ooc|| This is open to anyone in the Yaizux Pride. By the way, sorry if it is short, I had to go! It's time for you to choose...
Life... Pinkiesh-red optics flashed over the Terra. Tan ears with obsidian circles lined the tops of her skull. A low growl came from the massive huntress's throat, and out of her mouth in an instant. She shut her maw, letting her teeth crack together. Her pink-red optics flicked again, and she bound forward, tail high. She stopped, frozen. Acoustics flicked forward quickly, and then something skited by her. She quickly bounded after it, jumping into the air. Feeling as if flying, her feet were about to his her "pray" first. She smirked and gravity took its part. It pulled her down toward earth, and she landed harshly on the back of an antelope. The antelop started to buck, and then the she-lion almost lost her grip and fell off. The antelope was about to be crushed under this one's wait, and the lioness took a bite to the neck, and the antelope dropped. Dead. She was content. She grabbed the bulky male antelope by the neck, and began dragging it to a near by statue that looked good to eat by.
She smiled, digging into her meal. Her maw was covered in crimson blood. She looked up, licking her muzzle at least twice. Her pink optics flickered again, keeping a look out just in case someone tried to take her food again..
"This is probley the best meal I have gad in ages!" She took another two or three bites, and decided to stay here the night. She hopped up onto the statue, realising that it was becoming Twilight, and Twilight seemed to always prickle her fur. But it never scared her to death. I mean, she slept out here before, and nothing had ever gotten her...right..?
Her tail swung to and fro. A slight smile on her face. She looked at the very few "trees" to her right, and the sand to her left. She sighed. It was always too hot in the desert like regions. She hated it. Always have, and always will. Or Death?! [/s]

Kumar What strange ruins. Kumar had never seen anything quite like it. Humans must have lived here, he thought. He had never met a human up close, but he had seen some from a distance before. Twice. Once he saw a group of them, maybe a dozen or so: a pride of humans. They hadn’t bothered him. The second time he had come across different humans, strange and destructive ones.
But whatever humans had once lived here were gone. Did anyone live here now? Lions, perhaps? He had found a few paw prints in the sand beyond the ruins this morning, after the night dew had made the sand moist and sticky. But all day he had been exploring the strange land and he had found nothing. These ruins took up little space in the vast African land, but some areas were maze-like and difficult for Kumar to navigate, and now he was slightly – only slightly, he thought in annoyance – lost.
But as Kumar walked now, he realized there was a lioness in the distance, sitting by a few tall stone ruins. A dead animal lay before her as she ripped into it, her face bloody. Yes; there was a pride here, or at least a rouge. Best to make yourself known, Kumar, boy, don’t let them think you’re slinking around. This isn’t your land, he thought, as he walked towards the lioness. “Hello there!” he called in greeting.
ooc;; Just wanted to post before anyone else did. ^_^ Not that it was likely to happen, as this thread has been around for a while ... but still.

The large beauty had been pulled ever so gracefully from her sleep. She purred as she pulled herself from her sleep, and began her walk about that would help her awake and also help her decide if any unwated thing was in Because's lands. She groggily walked and kept her eyes lowered. It wasn't untill she had reached the lower parts of the ruins that two scents came to her noce. one was that of a female. and one was that of a male ...both neither of which she was farmilliar. She growled and took off at a dead run. A loud and angry roar escaping from her small and petite throat. Black lips curled down into a distasteful frown. She roared again making her presence known. She came hurtling through some bushes and slid to a halt her claws making scratches upon the dark cold stone. She growled. Her eyes held compassion for the male...but none what so ever of the female. She had been gone but not that long. Not long enough for Because to pick a queen. She stepped forward her eyes blazing into the other females. "You are no queen." She said. Her voice was deep and full of venom. "If I ever catch you on our lands again I will kill you." She growled. This female was no queen of theirs. "You have made a kill on our lands and we will kill you." She hissed. "As for you!" She said turning sharply to the male. "You should speak with the King first...before, making such introductions." She said. She growled once more at the more...more mainly at the wanna be queen and walked off towards the trees and bushes.

My my, how disappointing...It was really quite a shame that she behaved like that. If she wanted to be Queen, she had to learn how to stay calm. And if Symia wanted to stay a member of the Pride, she knew she had to keep her mouth shut about the common strangeness their lady seemed to display every now and then. After saying her rather childish and vindictive piece and leaving, Symia chuckled a little and slipped in to stand where Kishkir had been. Smiling welcomingly to them both, she gave a small curtsy and spoke carefully. "You must forgive Kishkir. She is a bit touchy when it comes to females. It's odd, yes? That the unfaithful fears her mate to be a cheater? Fears that Because may have picked another in her small leave. Ah well, it is no business of mine which loyalties the lady chooses to display." Creasing her experienced face slightly in a tiny smirk, Symia yawned greatly and peered at the newcomers. "Although, you really should have asked before taking any prey. If you want in on the Pride, you should call Because. He's been in a childishly cheery mood all year, since his concubine came scuttling back." Her tone was sweet and calm, but a secret distaste hung in her words.
Faithless, hopeless and completely withouth discretion. Thank G-d for her body and position of Symia would have done something about the Queen. Besides, simply because she bedded with Because it didn't mean she was Queen. A Queen needed poise, grace and strength and in Symia's opinion, Kishkir was nothing more or less than Because's choice in 'relations'. Shaking herself to rid the dirt from her coat, Symia gazed calmly at the male. He seemed to be chatting up the Queen, too bad. He was handsome enough for her. Six years old. That was how old she was. Six years old. That was in her prime. She would live well into her sixteenth year unless Kishkir decided otherwise, but still...She had wanted a family sooner. The familiar anxiety entered her face, and she bowed a little and began to walk back. "I'm sorry to leave you two like this, I-I need to be about my duties. Good day to you both." Twitching her tail and staying as relaxed as possible, she dipped into the foliage and padded forward swiftly. She needer her Ruins! She need to have the hot stones near her flesh to be able to think clearly again.
[/blockquote] Sorry for the ickiness of it. I wanted to play Symia for a bit.

Kumar Well … this was certainly a pride with problems, wasn’t it? All families had their drama, though, Kumar reminded himself. His certainly did. But still, he was angry. What queen was this? She was a queen, probably. She acted as though she had the power and authority, anyways. She was terrifying in her anger, and Kumar felt a certain sympathy for the lioness which she had just vented her anger on. The queen looked mad enough to kill. You should speak with the King first ... before making such introductions. Such introductions! He was merely saying hello. And who was she, anyways, to come and reproach him, a total stranger?
But Kumar’s anger disappeared as the next female appeared out of the bushes, a slightly older one. He almost laughed at her words. Yes, this pride could be in a soap opera. If you want in on the Pride, you should call Because. Was this the king? Perhaps he would; Kumar felt like this would be a nice area to live, but hopefully the king would be more … controlled than his queen. Opposites attract, and Kumar wondered if this were the case here, because he could not possibly live with such an emotional royal couple.
Now, though, he turned his attention to the first lioness again. “Is this your land?” he asked.
ooc; Vox, I think I'm going to have Kumar join Symia in that thread you've got, if you don't mind. Looks like it could get interesting there. ^__^
edit; sorry, Lithium, I just realized I totally took your spot in the posting order. You can ignore this post if you want.

A deep rumble erutped from the fair ladie's throat. She watched as Symia walked past. "You havn't been here very long. Mind who you talk to and what you talk about. You haven't been here long enough to put your two cents in." She said. She finally pulled herself to her feet and watched the girl. She dislike her but she didn't hate her. "You have no right to speak. You have no idea what I have been through. So before you go opening your mouth..." She said straightening up. "...verify the facts." She growled. "Thats one thing you could learn from a concubine..." She said looking at the female and then walking towards the ruins.

|ooc| : Lithium hasn't been here in a long time, so I don't think she'll be replying any time soon. And just as a general reference, Symia has been here three years xDD. Sooooo...Yeah. Hope played her for a long time (back when Sileree was still a ruthless skeptic -sigh- the good ol days...xP) and then when Hope left, I took over for a while.

ooc; actually, Lithium's profile says she was online just the other day. Do you want to wait a few days to see if she comes back, or just continue role playing on this thread?
