Stratus clouds layered the light blue sky, the atmosphere dry and quite unwelcoming to the naked eye though to the surrounding creatures it was truly just a typical day. Among the tall grasses a lioness lurked, stealthily moving within the shadows towards the water hole. Parting her jaws she recognized herself as down wind from the oasis and thus continued forwards. Lightly hued underbelly scraping the earthen as she propelled her lithe form forwards, pausing she peered through an opening within the brush. Warm honey pools scanned the area only to land upon a rather small rabbit located at the bank. Cleaning its ears with not a care in the world of what seemed to be happening around him. Expertly she positioned herself into a low crouch, while careful not to disturb the tan colored herbivore. Tensing for a mere second she sprang into action leaping towards it with her claws extended in a wide range. It turned in a flurry of motion and sped off, but not before she skillfully tossed it into the air with a fore paw and sank her fangs deep into the soft flesh. Inscisors stayed buried until she felt its body become limp within her jaws, the last beats of its weakend heart dyeing off in her sensitve listeners. Releasing it she watched as it fell to the ground with a quiet thump, such a meager helping yet she took what she could catch without others most of the time. Lowering her finely etched tiara her pearls ripped open its skin exposing the goodies that had been wrapped up inside. Scarfing down its liver she continued to eat away at her meal though keeping a watchful eye out for any who might attempt to steal it from her.
All to soon afterwards she finished, licking her lips with a sort of satisfied look she shook herself then turned kicking the rabbit as she did so. Beautiful physique walked towards the shallow pool of water and she let her front legs, as well as her back paws be covered by the cool liquid. Lowering her visage she lapped the water neatly with her pink tongue, washing the blood from her jaws. Stepping out of the water upon finishing she shook each of her dainy paws in turn, turning her petite bodice towards a rock she lept upon it cleanly then lay down with a sigh. Licking a paw she placed it behind her ear then did the same with the other, tail tapping against the rock. A rather large acicia tree gave a good amoung of shade and she relaxed instantly intent on taking a short nap though who knows what indeed would come to happen next.

If he ever decided to take a step back and evaluate things... Things at the moment and things he was going to do, considering the current, he would be utterly surprised… and slightly disgusted. He was not a person who adored children and yet here he was letting one tag along with him. Here he was helping the child out. Could one believe that? Then again could one believe his brother? Yes, it still gnawed at him that the brute had sided with the female then him. That his brother who he had stayed with for his entire life now decided to get up and leave without due warning. The male was broadsided by the act… And though it had crossed his mind that he should, perhaps, he should apologize he found himself not desiring to. His brother was the one in the wrong. His brother should be the one to step up and speak a sorry, not him. As if I need him anyway. He thought with bitter mind and annoyed voice.
He walked along in mild silence. The quietness of their travel not bothering him as rough, black pads scraped the ground rhythmically. His ears staying in a mild position, his body lucid as it moved along without hassle. Muscular and lean body without strain, without the burden of wounds. Another thing that would surprise him if he cared to pay mind. He hadn’t been in a fight in ages. He hadn’t the pleasure of it. Was he getting soft? If he cared to reflect he… might actually…
The beast offered little more then a snort and twitch of the tail for signs that he was becoming annoyed with himself. Annoyed how long the trek was to the watering hole. Not that such agitation was silenced soon enough with nostrils taking in the lovely perfume of a lady and the scent of a fresh enough carcass. Admittedly it smelled like a rabbit and chances where... The duo soon arrived and the lassie went on ahead. Dashing along to the large pool while he continued to take his time. Soon coming upon the corpse he lowed his skull to it. Inhaling the lovely aroma before giving it but a lick, deciding it was only scraps and there would be better game he stepped over it and went on. Fallowing the obvious path of the Kamuy. Not that he had a smirk in the back of his mind. There was a lady lounging around here somewhere, surely she would come pay them a visit? Out of Juice: And Kamuy && Cal are coming to visit as well. xP |

Kamunyak came to the watering hole, with the big male. She walked to the side of him. She looked around and started to sniffing. " Wow, this is a nice place! Have you been here before?[/b]" She smiled and looked around her surroundings. She also walked down to the watering hole. She crouched down and started to lap iup the cool water. Her pink tongue just lapping up the cool water, she felt refreshed. She got up and swallowed, " Are you going to come and drink, its refreshing![/b]" She smiled and carried on drinking. Her tanned fur was shimmering in the sun, her ears flickered and just listerning to the birds and other animals that surrounded her.

Takashi's large paws hit the ground hard. She was sad and upset. Her home was gone and she felt like she would and could never return. "Who am I kidding? I could have never-!" She gasped in suprise. "Kamunyak! I thought that I would never see you again! And you..." She turned her attention to the large male. "You.... we never spoke before, but put that behind you.... What I would have spoken to you about would do nothing now...." She sighed and walked by her two 'friends'. "You guys will be there when I need you, right? Because I'll be there for you." She smiled at the first lions that she met when she arrived. "I think we should stick together! That way we could almost be our own pride..." Takashi smiled like she was embarressed. She was and she was longing for companionship. She began to lap up the cool water as she recalled how she acted towards them when they first met. "Let's see, Kamunyak thought that vultures were 'big turkies' and I wanted to teach the young cat about the way things worked out on her own. The male.... Hmm.... I was a little hostile to him at first... I really don't know why... Maybe it was because I lived all alone for so long, I didn't remember how to trust." She stopped drinking and stared at her reflection in the water. "I'm sorry that I was hostile in the savannah...." She sat beside her friends.

Kamunyak opened a eye and saw Takashi. She sat up and watched Takashi drink. She heard that her talk. "Im sorry for being hostile" Kamunyak got up and layed against her. She also gave Takashi a head rub, whilst purring. " Hey dont worry about it, hey we can go hunting together[/b]" She smiled and layed down, leaning against Takashi. It was nice that the three of them would make the start of a new pride. Kamunyak jumped up with excitiment. " Takashi is right!! Us three as a pride! It would be so cool, what you think male? Sorry didnt catch your name[/b]" She giggled and layed back down. She felt refreshed after the water. " Hey dont worry, course we will stick beside you! That's what we do in a pride[/b]" She was happy that she finally got a pride sorted out.

Delicate listeners swerved upon her finely etched visage, straining to pinpoint the position of a creature as it brushed against the long grasses. The sound of careless animals pounding against the earthen caused her thick lashes to flutter, honey liquid pools opening to scan the clearing in time to see to lionesses come forth in the clearing. There goes my peace, speaking inside of her brain pan so that they weren't able to hear orbs rolled widly then closed once more. Beneath her the rock was favorible warm relaxing her muscles to a certain degree were she though that again she might fall asleep. Portals widened and she blinked focusing on the area, pupils adjusting to the light around her. Tissue flared capturing the scents of the two females as well as the aroma of another, a male to be exact and at once her anger faded into a single abiss. Stirring from her spot underneath the shady tree she rose, legs extending to hold her beautiful physique upwards. Pools ran over the others and her lips pulled back in a smile, " Who's starting a pride? I do believe that he hasn't agreed to yet..." Words sounded wise yet her vocals were sweet and bright to match her youthfull appearence. Tail swept back and forth then held straight out behind her as she lay again her belly against the surface of the boulder though her bodice was facing the others.

Calamity
ashes, ashes, they all fall [/font] D O W N[/u][/font][/size][/center] He mused quietly how these two females where so quick to draw him in. How swiftly they moved and fluttered, how they ganged up and all the sudden agreed. Though admittedly he wasn’t paying tons of attention when he should have, they still moved as fast as sinners running from the prosecution. But, alas he supposed they where quick to know what they desired… and that was good… and yet… drawing… him in they seemed to do. So quickly…
Have you been here before? I doubt I would know where it is, my dear, if I didn’t. But… nonetheless the answer would be a no. I have heard of this place by others. Heard this was where many a beauty resides and… it seems I am indeed correct, yes? He thought quietly without talking, his eyes wandering to Takashi’s lovely body, his interest obviously placed before his gaze flickered to the newest gal. Oh, so wise did she speak, so clever! Yes, he had not agreed to anything and he couldn’t believe he was being asked to. Though admittedly he had been in loose [as in loose] prides before he was never… really… anyone but that smartass who stole your girl in it. But, they where not asking anything much. They where… just… asking that he tagged along, right?
“No worries, dove.” He replied, finally speaking as his gaze wandered back to Madame Takashi and her comment of hostility. Truly he didn’t mind, nor care. He was use to it and she was a pretty enough thing. Of course if she was a man things would be different. A, they wouldn’t get along and b, well… yeah, there’s pretty much only an ‘a’ to all this. Though admittedly he couldn’t help but raise a brow at this ‘I’ll be there for you’, resisting quite readily a ‘I’ll be there for you, too, toots, until things get a little bloody.’. He only stuck around when things got bloody for Crow. And now that Crow had ditched him, well, he would stick around only if he felt like it.
Male? Bloody gal I told you my name. He watched Kamu simply before offering a small shrug, “It’s Calamity, dear, it would be a wise thing for you to remember it.” He said simply, his eyes wander around as he heard the giggles and saw the smiling and the rest of the ditzy behavior. “Oh, don’t tell me Goddess you want in on it too?” He asked, now taking his time to speak all around as his gaze once more strayed to Miss Kiera. A little smirk touching his black lips as he examined her without fault before eyes once more rose to her own and awaited a reply. He figured she wanted in, after all why else would she be dropping in? |

Takashi smiled at Kamu and Calamity. They could start their own pride soon and she would be with her friends. "No worries, Calamity! I won't forget your name!" She looked around her. There was not much large prey, but Takashi saw a few rabbits. "Yeah Kamunyak! Let's hunt! You coming Calamity? I see a few rabbits up ahead." Takashi crouched low and stalked after the rabbit. Creeping up slowly behind the morsel, her eyes searched for its escape route. Seeing none, she set her amber orbs ahead to the rabbit. When she was about three meters away, her paw landed on a stick. It snapped and set the rabbit running. Takashi bolted from her crouched postion and chased the rabbit. She began to close the gap when the rabbit began to turn. She sharply turned and tried to cut the rabbit off. She started to run almost head on at the rabbit. She turned and was right infront of it and charged. The rabbit tried to turn around, but Takashi kept running. She leaped and pounced on the rabbit. She bit into its back and killed it by breaking its spine in half. Carrying her prize, she leaped onto a rock and began to eat. It was a small snack, but Takashi was hungry and was gratefull for any food.
