;D Well, I've had this board for a while and I've been nervous to start anything on it because every proboards I touch seems to wither under my grasp. I was thinking of doing something new, something with a flair and these two ideas came to me. Depending on which one gets more votes, I'll explain more. =P Depends if that twist is Boston is good. ;3 But, I have been thinking more about human roleplays lately, so, yepsie. -cast her vote- And, dun worry Voxxeh your not the only one who murders boards. Why I make one I tend to lose interest. O.o And when the admin loses interest she goes inactive and then the forum just quietly dies. ZO-wells, betcha have better luck this time. ;3

I've started working on the basics, but I'm still not going to make a skin yet because the banner would have to go along with the colors and I'm not sure what to make it. We're 50-50 here, peoples, let's see some more violent answers xD.

Since you lot are too nice for your own good, I shall explain about the Boston 'twist' since it is more mysterious than a fantasy wolf role-play.
I grew up in the Northend of Boston. To say it's a 'good' neighborhood would be an overstatement. But it was very safe, and my Dad felt good about leaving me, my mother and my Gran there during the day while he worked long hours at Salomon Smith Barney (back when it was called that). The main reason why this was is because of the Mafia. Yes yes, don't get all excited. The Mafia. Now the Mafia are made up of italian men from Cecily and Naples; the two places where government is most corrupt. The Mafia (literally 'my family', from 'Ma filia') were the underground government that took over the real government and played them like a puppet. This meant that trials, judges, juries, and the like were non-existant. If, for example a band of men molested somebody or other, they would be dead within the week. It was a grim sort of protection, but it meant that all the women and children in Boston were safe. And all those reprobates that hung around the bad schools...Were busted.
So, that's basically the end of my anecdote. The way I would make that into a plot is being worked on in the deepest chambers of my brain. =3 Meaning I haven't really figured it out yet. Well, you get the picture. I don't intend it to be a dark or gorey RP, I detest those. It would be PG-13 (as would the wolf one be) but then, most of them are. And, as a plus, it would be literate. 8-10 lines minimum with extra points for those 800-900+ posts we're all so proud of.

Mhmm... so it would end up a Mafia roleplay? Or the life of people and how they are affected by the Mafia? -curious- xD Thankfully it isn't dark and gorey. Dark and gorey is... not too horrible, it's just when we get into detail on rapes and the rest. Rather not hear about it or read about it or have a part in it. X.x Nonetheless! Remember one Mafia roleplay I came across [the only one, really] it was interesting and pretty-full, done on invision and such. =P It had two Mafias in place, the Russian and the Cecilian, I do believe. The writing was awesome on it, very interesting, but! A bit too 'ehhh' were some of the threads.
adds: It'd be a few couple years in the past? Or would it be present? Mhmm... x.x -random- steampunk owns.

None of the players would be in the Mafia. Attracts the wrong crowd. It would be like...How the whole city of Boston dealt with something like child-snatchings or something. I have an idea of how to give it a supernatural twist, but it's not fleshed out yet.
It would be set in the 90s probably. Seeing as that was when I lived there. I was raised in a small apartment above a banana shop, actually xD Shhhh....Don't tell anyone! =P

=P Oooh. supernatural, fantasy. <3 Mhmm... a city dealing with kidnappings... think the supernatural would need to be a bit influential. Not all people of a city would be really concerned with child-nappings, if they didn't have a child.

In the Northend, they would be horrified that the kidnappers got away from the Mafia alive, but the posh end of town (I got to live there for two years before we moved again, xD) wouldn't be bothered by it. I'm working on it with a fellow Bostonian aunt, and I have some ideas I'm working through with her.
Plus, if you joined, it would be cool to see Pesty as a human. I'd imagine she might have a fist fight with Sileree, or they'd be good friends xD. You never can tell with those ridiculously aggressive characters.

And no, we didn't get free bananas. I remember walking to school with Mum though, and waving to the guy. He was a great big italian bloke, about 25. I used to have such a crush on him, x) . Anyway, I learned some italian from them. " Bonjourno, signor! " I'd say everyday. He used to laugh. The weird thing was, he was part of the Mafia, according to Dad. Nice, child-friendly blighter by day and then a murdering, government apposing dude by night. That's the way it was though. You got used to it after a while.

Pesty? Ye knows about meh Pesty?! =D Pesty <3 Yep, lol. Usually it's one extreme or another, and Pesty'd definitely be concerned about kidnappers. I'd imagine I might bring in Epidemic... have Pesty and him be a bit older. Have a plot I've always wanted to have with Epi... =P
adds; O.o Seriously? Woah... That is... somewhat terrifying but awesome, too. Terrifying how someone could be so different, and then awesome cause... well... cause it's awesome. xDDD My childhood wasn't anything I really remember. I moved lots and nothing exciting ever happened.

We moved around a lot too. We were in Boston, then moved to California, then back to Boston, then to New Hampshire, and now we're in...The Northwest. Not giving exact location, you'll laugh if you knew.
And it was a little strange, when we heard about the banana seller's involvement in the Mafia, but he was such a gentleman we didn't care.
I think for the purpose of human RP though, I would bring in another character...Maybe Lizzy? She's the one I play as 'Ceinder' on wolf sites. It means 'elegant' in welsh. But she's a real feral thing, Lizzy. Kind and very good with kids, but with a short-fuse. |

-Pestypurrs- I haven't roleplayed her much. x.x Most of my roleplays on WTB are stalemates. And... Pesty ends up more aggresive as a human, too. A bit more snappy, a bit more playing hardball. ;P She tends to work as a waitress. The "Take no Crap" waitress we all know and love, lol!
