A warm breeze blew over the savanna causing the dry hedges to waver back and forth. Different species of birds chatted in the vegetation above. Their melodies echoed off the mountain ridges that surrounds the wasteland. Small mammals forage beneath the thorn thickets. Everything seemed at peace. The suns light was gleaming downwards, all the creatures were out from their dens, enjoying the nice heat of midday. Suddenly a piercing silents crossed the land. Danger had appeared, bringing fear to all. Twigs snapped and cracked as they all bolted for shelter. Kaede's massive golden bodice sauntered into clear view. Muscles rippling with every stride, claws leaving noticeable imprints into the turf. She held herself with proud. Scarred cranium was lifted in a high position, broad torso seemed to be puffed out but it was simply how she was built, like a tank. A sneer crosses mask features in amusement at the terrified animals. It was impossible not to detect the darkness that was filled within the she-devil. Icy optics glowed with hatred and wickedness. She favored death and all that came with it. The lioness trusted none and loathed mostly all. Caring and love was for weak morons. She looked down on any who were kind and light hearted. She was a bit twisted but being on the top of the food chain worked quite well for her. Bold limbs came to a pause at the fast flowing river. She gazed over the body of clear fresh water. The long outline of a crocodile was spotted a few yards away. A small grunt was released. Some felines were afraid of these elderly dinosaurs because of their ambush skills and giant jaws but she found them annoying pests. Aways taking game that belonged to the land predators. She lowered her bodice so that her muzzle almost touched the cool water. Rough pink salmon appeared to lap up the fluid. Her optics were still narrowed in on the swimming croc just in case it motioned towards shore. Now that her thirst had disappeared she could travel farther into this new territory. She began to amble back to the coverage of the trees. This place was strange and different to her. Good. It was time to end her old life and start a fresh one.
