HISTORY
Along time ago, the pack that inhabited Haven Island was just like any pack the world had ever scene. The hirearchy consisted of the Alpha Male and his partner and the make up of the pack was the many wolves that made up their family, or distanct kin that no longer seemed related to them.
The time had finally come for the new Alpha and his mate to have their first litter and in that litter were two sons and a female. It was obvious at the time of their birth that one of the two sons would become the next Alpha of Haven Island. That was until it was discovered that one of the sons held special gifts. These "gifts: were control over the four elements, earth, fire, air and water.
The father knew then that there was no way he would be able to put one brother at a higher rank then the other for fear of outcasting. So instead, when the time came he divided the role of Alpha Male between the two, turning the pack from a normal hirearchy to one with duel alphas and no beta. The two brothers ruled side by side, never having any trouble between them.
Eventually the pack grew, and with that came the addition of many new ranks as well as new alphas, the decendants of the original two. The four offspring of the first "fantasy" alpha only held control over one element and it was know from then on that that would be the norm. For years now the two have lived in harmony side by side.
