Maston
This could be the best day of my life...
He was a giant of a brute at two years old, standing at 50" he stood 2" taller than the top end of what had been logged by scientists in the wild. But his size did not bother him. He strode through lands as if there were nothing abnormal about him. Each stride was long and powerful, yet not a sound was made as pads hit the earth. He'd made a decision, however, as he'd walked through the area, and that was that this should be his new home. Here was where he would settle. His pride would make it's home within these lands.
With each move, muscles rippled down his body, a scary sight as they bulged. With each silent step, the grass moved around him, and then he saw it. The perfect spot to announce his claim had hit his mismatched eyes. The dark one remained cold, as it always was, though the light amber lit up. He truly was happy. So happy, in fact, that he ran to the top of the hill, and jumped upon the massive rock with a single leap. He looked across the lands, haunches lowering onto the rock, and smiled. These lands truly were marvelous- abundant in prey and soft on the eye, he was sure he, Adia, and whoever joined them would find happiness.
The thought of the young cub only filled him with more certainty. This was a perfect place for her to live and learn. She would be happy here. She could play and run, and be safe under his watchful eye within these lands. His smile broadened to a grin. yes, this was certainly the place to stake his claim.
He rose back onto his paws and released a mighty roar from his massive chest. It echoed across the lands, stating his claim in a way which was loud and clear. He heard his roar come back at him and smiled. Yes, he was certainly in the right place.
As it would soon began to rain, he lay down. It would be refreshing to get a little wet- afterall he'd been out in the heat all day.
Or it could be the worst.
