Name: Kumar
Gender: Male
Age: Four
Appearance: He is a small lion, not big and bulky like some; in fact, Kumar is on the skinny side. He was born during a famine and grew up to be lean, delicate, graceful: like a lioness. His muscles are strong and compact but not beefy, more ideal for hunting and running than fighting. His fur is sandy tan colour, and his mane is dark.
Personality: As he’s still fairly young and self-conscious, Kumar often puts up a front around other males because of his small body. He acts very macho and aggressive; he wouldn’t hesitate to fight if he had to. He acts foolish, proud, and hot-headed. Around females, however, Kumar lets his guard down, acting more considerate and kind. Some lionesses label him as sweet and kind, and he can be a bit of a lady’s man, a gentle man, but a clumsy one. Inside, Kumar is a mixture of these two personalities. He is gentle and kind, but would also fight if it was important.
History: The year Kumar was born there was a drought in the land, and his pride suffered. The plants shriveled and died and the prey grew thin and left in search of food and water. The lions were left alone and hungry in what had become a wasteland. It was a miracle that Kumar lived. He had grown up thin, despite being the eldest and largest of his litter, and his two siblings both died within a few months. His pride fell from power and many lions died, but Kumar lived, and left what remained of his pride in search of adventure and a better life before he turned three.
