Name: Chinua pronunciation: CHEEN-ow
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Color/Markings: A very large lion with muscles to fit his size. He's got large reddish brown eyes and a average sized muzzle. His face usually holds a proud expression on it. His coat is the color of a wet wheat field, and his mane, which isn't all that big as of now, starts a golden red and becomes black at the very ends.
Personality: Its best not to start an argument with him, for he's likely to turn it into a fight. He's a little arrogant, but that's comes from having and exceptionally smaller sister. He could almost always out do her at everything. Chinua is a grand liar, and he's not afraid to use his talents either. Chinua would only help someone else if whatever they needed to fix or needed help with concerned him. One thing he does have going, for him is patience. He's also courageous and determined. he wasn't always patient, and she used to get angry faster than a cheetah could run. Chinua, while he may be unpleasant to be around at the best of times, is very loyal. He'd never do anything to hurt his pride or his friends. Once you get to know him, he's not all that bad of a guy, its just becoming a friend that's the hard part.
Other: Chinua's mother was just another hunting lion, but she was outstanding. Her name was Tenji, and she was somewhat of an idol among the female lion cubs. No one knew it, but she was and idol to Chinua, too. His sister was always calling her an arrogant, show-offey jerk. No one listened to her when she said those sort of things, but it drove Chinua to the brink of insanity. It always caused fights, of which he is proud to say that he won most of them them. He even left her with a torn up ear once. Everyone respected Tenji, not to mention Chinua. They weren't as found of Karasi, only because she liked to play tricks on them. Tenji did not like to hunt with the other lioness', and it made sense if you thought about it. She didn't want anyone to mess her up when she was stalking her prey. One little sound and it would disappear. Since her mother was to busy with her own life, which is quite understandable, Chinua and his younger sister, Karasi, were often left alone. They weren't the best of friends, in fact, if they wouldn't have had to rely on each other, they wouldn't have even spoken to each other. They were total opposites, except that she was also hot-tempered and argumentative. No longer did it matter once the humans moved in. They killed three lions a day, sometimes even the cubs. Only a few survived, none of them reforming a pride, and Chinua was one of them. He doesn't know if his sister made it or not. Now its time to start over, and being a male, isn't going to help him out any.
