Name: Karasi pronunciation: car-AH-see
Gender: Female
Age: 2
Color/Markings: Over powerful muscles is a light sandy beige pelt. She's not all that big, in fact, she'd been told that she is considered small. Being small is never good in the wild, but when your a lion, things seem to go better. Except for the hyena's, that is. In the past they've thought of her as their next meal. Her left ear is torn up from her brother going into one of his fits over an argument about their mother.
Personality: A year with her older brother created a very argumentative part to her, as well as a very quick-tempered part. For wanting to out do her siblings, Karasi has become determined to succeed. That's not to say that she wouldn't help you, because that's one of the things she does best. Honesty is a quality that she has always prized, as had the rest of her pride, for Karasi loved to play tricks on them. Being mischievous doesn't make her a mean person or an outgoing one at that. If you're the one to say hello, you might be on the path to a very good friend. Karasi sticks up for her friends, and is just generally kind to them. Of course, Karasi would not approach someone unless she had been ordered to do so, which would bring on the arguments, the yelling, and the rude remarks. Its just best to leave her alone when she's in a funk, but there are times when Karasi just needs to let it all out.
Courage and determination are two of her prominent characteristics. She'd always been the first to lay her life on the line when it came to friends in danger. Sadly, though, it didn't stop her pride from falling to an untimely death. Karasi has an irrational fear of large males. The strangest thing is that she can't even remember why she's scared, she just is. Even so, no matter someone's size or gender, Karasi wouldn't stand down from a challenge. Of course, the reason why she's fighting, no matter size or gender, always has to be rational. She'd never attack someone on a whim, even if they had called her something crude.
Other: Karasi's mother was just another hunting lion, but she was outstanding. Her name was Tenji, and she was somewhat of an idol among the female lion cubs. Only Karasi saw her for what she truly was, careless, and arrogant lioness. Everyone else was to busy fawning over her latest catch, of which she liked to track down by herself. Tenji did not like to hunt with the other lioness', but ti would make sense if you thought about it. She'd wanted to show off, and she couldn't do that if she worked as a team with the others, now could she? Since her mother was to busy with her own life, Karasi and her older brother, Chinua, were often left alone. They weren't the best of friends, in fact, if they wouldn't have had to rely on each other, they wouldn't have even spoken. They were total opposites, except that her was also hot-tempered and argumentative. All this changed once the humans moved in. They killed three lions a day, sometimes even the cubs. Only a few survived, none of them reforming a pride, and Karasi was one of them. Now she's got to start all over.
