Name: Kyuubi
Age: 3
Appearance: Small and bulky with muscle. She is the same coloration like any other lioness, and her battle scars prove that she has been through a lot. Especially the one on her face right by her right eye she got fighting a leopard.
Personality: She is territorial. She hates all the guys who think they can get whatever they want by just showing how prideful they are in both their minds and their... well you know. *Coughs* Anyway. She likes the guys that are considerate to other females, and she is a very mother like female, as all others are. Even if she doesnt have cubs, she likes to watch other mothers play with their cubs. She wishes all the time that she could have some of her own some day.
History: Well, Kyuubi was in a refuge for a while to be safe from poachers when she was younger. A small fire broke out and it burned the refuge. Her mother and a few other pride lions escaped and they began to live out in the wild again. It was not such a different experience for them, but for her it was. It was such a bigger world out there! Especially the creatures that were bigger than she was! Especially the animals with the long tube looking thing from their faces. Most of the time she would hiss at them and growl. But they would heed no attention to her and just continue on knowing she was not a threat. The big thomping of their feet was enough to scare her though!
At least she had her own friends and siblings to play with that were her size. And they played for hours taking turns at being the prey and being the hunter. They hid in old logs, in the grass and even in branches. Lions were not climbers though.The last time her uncle tried to climb a tree, he broke his back when he fell down and basically hung himself upside down. She witnessed that one and she was still trying to get rid of the images.
A few months after the fire, a new male came up and challenged the lead Lion. The lead lion was her father. She knew that he would win. He always won. Suddenly, another lion came out of the clearing and also attacked him. Wait. That was not fair! They tackled him and pinned him to the ground as they slashed their claws into his belly and ripped his throat open. The stench of blood was just too much. Kyuubi and her mother ran away as the other lionesses tried to fight back, but in the end their cubs and some of the females were killed. Others surrendered. In the end, Kyuubi and her mother lived alone without the pride.
Kyuubi was now three years of age and living on her own. She would scent down her mother from time to time and visit. She never found another pride. It didn't bother her much. Kyuubi on the other hand was missing being with other lions. She told her mother she was oging to go and find a pride. Her mother warned her of the males. She knew all too well. As she turned to leave, her mother watched as she disappeared into the grasslands.
