I currently role play 3 lions: Reihaja, Jayvia, and Kumar[/font]x. if destiny's kind .xR e i h a j a

My name is Reihaja. I am a lioness and I have lived for three years. My pride no longer welcomes me; at the moment, I am a rogue. I have left my family, and I have not created one of my own. I have no lover, and no children.
. x .
My appearance isn’t particularly memorable. My fur is sienna, my stomach a shadowy blond. I’m dark to you, but at my old pride my colouring was considered light. My size is medium for a lioness, my tail short, my build stocky. I’ve got muscles, smooth and powerful ones. I can run and fight and kill: I’m no weakling. I’m no innocent child, either. My smoky brown eyes see more than you might think.
. x .
My personality is debatable. You say I’m rash, brazen, and much too bold. You say I’m disrespectful and saucy. You say I let my emotions get the better of me, that I lack control and grace. You say I’m brave, protective, even loving. You say I’m loyal and faithful. You say I’m a foolish young thing, but I’ll grow with time.
I saw you know nothing, really.

My history still hurts me. I could tell you of how I was born in the North, far past the Shujaa lands. I could tell you of how bloody and corrupt the history of my ancient tribe had been. I could tell you of my parentage, of my childhood, of my betrothal, of my rebellion, of the blood spilt. I could tell you of how I was banished, of how I was forced to leave the only home I had ever known before I was even three years old. I could tell you. I could, but I don’t. It hurts too much.

Those who know me call me Jayvia. I am a lioness and my loyalties lie with the Akina pride. I was born seven years ago, and I have one younger sister, Symia, whom I have lost contact with. I have no mate and no children.
appearance : Jayvia is a large lioness, the size of a small male, although she is curvier in the way females are. Her muscles aren’t bulky but they are visible under her coat. Her fur is a shade of soft, slightly orangish honey, fading to a creamy underside. She has a few scars along her flanks and hind legs, but they are barely visible beneath her fur; they are an unpleasant reminder of her past. Jayvia’s eyes are dark copper with flecks of gold in them, and they are lined with darkest brown.
personality : Jayvia is an outgoing lioness. She is friendly and amicable creature. She has a gentle soul and is kind, companionate and especially good with cubs. But Jayvia is very protective. She would fight to protect those that she loved, and with her size she may win, as well. But she is sensible and responsible and wouldn’t fight unless it was the last resort; she is a mature lioness.
history : The pride Jayvia was born to wasn’t a peaceful one; there as fighting and war, both within the pride and between the neighboring ones. It was an unstable pride, and in her short three years there they had multiple rulers. Many cubs were killed when a new ruler took the throne, but both Jayvia and her younger sister, Symia, lived. Jayvia took care of many of the younger cubs – she was like a second mother to some of them - and it broke her heart when they died. You may be thinking Jayvia had a terrible childhood, but no; she loved my pride and many of the lions in it.
When the lioness was four, she left the pride with Symia. The two traveled far away from their pride’s land, and then fate stepped in and they traveled far away from each other, as well. They met one time after their separation, and they fought; Jayvia was hungry, and she had a kill. But that time is gone now. Jayvia hasn’t seen her sister since she was five, and Symia was three. Occationally, usually during late, cold nights, Jayvia wonders what has happened to her sister: does she have a pride now? Cubs? Is she even still alive? But Jayvia doesn’t know the answers.
After leaving Symia the last time, Jayvia came across the Akina and joined their pride. Since then, she has been living a normally restful and peaceful life in the marshes.
relationships :
Lothril has been kind to me, and she is a queen I am glad to serve.
Almira, you are almost like the daughter I never had.
Tari is growing up into a lovely young lioness, but she will still always be a child to me.
Jafar makes my blood boil, and I consider it truly unfortunate that we had to meet twice.
Iago sickens me; he is a poor excuse for a lion.
Cursico, I hope I can help. Poor, sweet cub!
{I began roleplaying Jayvia in September ’07, so I don’t know exactly who she’s came into contact with or anything, though I’ve tried to look it up. Previously she was role played by Hope. }

My name is Kumar. I am a lion and I was brought into this world four years ago. My father and brother are both dead, and I am no longer in contact with my mother. I am loyal to no one right now as I am a rogue, but that may change.
Appearance: Kumar is a small lion, not big and bulky like some; in fact, Kumar is on the skinny side. He was born during a famine and grew up to be lean, delicate, graceful: like a lioness. His muscles are strong and compact but not beefy, more ideal for hunting and running than fighting. His fur is sandy tan colour, and his mane is dark. The tuff at the end of his tail is dark, as well.
Personality: As he’s still fairly young and self-conscious, Kumar often puts up a front around other males because of his small body. He acts very macho and aggressive; he wouldn’t hesitate to fight if he had to. He acts foolish, proud, and hot-headed. Around females, however, Kumar lets his guard down, acting more considerate and kind. Some lionesses label him as sweet and kind, and he can be a bit of a lady’s man, a gentleman, but a clumsy one.
History: The pride Kumar was born into was a good one. It was fairly large pride with about ten lionesses and their cubs, as well as a few males. They had control over a small but fertile area of land with good prey. Kumar was the second born son of the king, so while he wouldn’t have taken over his father’s pride, he would have been able to rule near the kingdom.
But the year Kumar was born there was a drought in the land, and his pride suffered. The plants shriveled and died and the prey grew thin and left in search of food and water. The lions were left alone and hungry in what had become a wasteland. There was fighting and lions were killed. It was a miracle that Kumar lived. Despite being the eldest and largest of his litter, he grew up thin, and the two sisters in his litter both died within a few months. Politically, things were not good; his father was murdered because some of the pride blamed the king for not taking them to better land, and Kumar’s three-year-old brother was killed as well for being heir to the throne. When Kumar’s mother realized that both she and Kumar were in danger of the murderous pride, she took her son and left the land. Kumar was then two years old.
For the next year, Kumar and his mother traveled together. They settled down with a pride, but Kumar left after a few months, as he didn’t get along with the king. It almost broke his mother’s heart, losing her last child, but she was young and found new love within her new pride. Kumar, meanwhile, continued looking for a new home.
Relationships:
Kishkir seems to lack the qualities that make a good queen. Uncontrolled and slightly wild, I can only guess how she became queen.
