Ghinjo wandered into the lands a little on edge; she hadn't seen Valcon in days, and her heart was extremely heavy. She could only hope that he was keeping an eye on her, wherever he was. He had won over her trust and she refused to belive that she had allowed herself to be hurt emotionally now. Before Valcon, it had been physically and she didn't want to admit that she could have opened herself up to a whole new realm of pain. Such stress wasn't good at this time, but she wasn't a first time mother either, so she knew when her swollen sides started aching that it was time to leave the territory and start a family...even if it would result in her raising the cubs by herself...it wouldn't be the first time with that either. She searched out a while until she found a suitable cave, and wandered into the shallow darkness. She curled up at the back, with her back pressed against the wall -- it was a security measure; this way no one could sneak up on her. The white lioness then waited out the long process of bringing new life into the world.
Hours later, Ghinjo's head rested on her paws, her body quite exhausted and three cubs suckling at her side. Two girls and a boy. Three adorable cubs. Well, there had originally been four but the runt had lost it's battle with life at an early age. The male and one of the females were a perfectly normal color, however the oldest and biggest of the three (at least at this point) was a bright white color. The male was darker than the tan colored female, just like his father. Upon this realization, Ghinjo's heart sank further and she waited quietly, working up the strength to begin transferring her new family back to the pridelands...where she knew she could very well be leading alone.
