Sirius Black tell me god, what have i done.
She said "Take it, it is yours." with the smallest of breaths and her clothes they hit the floor, but she still looked dressed to kill Tell me what i've done, and do i really need this, tell me God what have i done. Well I took back all my breath, and the words they hit my lungs and inside screamed 'you're a mess.' Then it all went wrong for me. You know I should've known that you always got your way. You know I should've known. So he had been gone for a while. It never stopped him for getting what he wanted. He had left just for a couple of weeks to check up on some things with his mother and sisters when he returned to find he was no longer a ruler of a land and his beloved Askua was missing. It broke his heart to find all of this out, but it didn't bother him much. He could always challenge another ruler for his land, but nobody could replace his darling Askua. Nobody. The first time he met her, he fell in love faster then you could say "bobs your uncle." And now she was gone, and he was alone in the world with nothing. But hopefully that was going to change. He prayed for a land to call his own, and he was going to get that - no matter what he had do to. Black was ready for anything; well almost anything. He didn't have much fighting experience, but that didn't really matter - Right? Well, for his sake, i hope so. The only fighting he knew about was the ones when he played with his sisters and brother in the hot sun when he was just a cub. Black wasn't the fighting type unless someones life was on the line or something along the lines of that. However, he would try his best and pray to god that he would be the one who comes out on top, so he could finally rule a land for longer then a week.
Muscular limbs of the brute carried his bulky form forward bringing him closer and closer to the place where he would put chaos under. It wasn't as hot as most days, but rather cool and damp. From time to time a drizzle would pass along his head and the brute would seek shelter under a tree until it passed and he continue on his way. Long dark mane that grew all the way to his stomach flew back gently as he moved onward, just getting a feel of the knew lands before he called the ruler to his challenge. The smell of others were every where, and every time Black lowered his ebon nose to the grass he would pull his maw back and his salmon colored tongue would show, making a weird look plastered upon the male's usually handsome features. The smell of the lands told him everything he needed to know about the place. Who the ruler was and how many lions lived in the area. It was a pretty large pride, holding at least nine felines, which to him was a large pride.
Growing up, Sirius' Black father was the ruler of the land and he had only ten lioness' not counting cubs. His dad ruled all by himself, protecting his pride through many males coming in and trying to steal the land, and his lioness'. Black's father taught him everything he knows, well almost everything. Like i said before, Black really couldn't fight that well, but he was willing to try anything. He took pride in doing whatever he was doing, even if he messed up. Sirius never put himself down in any way. He was always looking on the bright side. But don't get me wrong, Sirius did have an mean streak. When he gets angry you better stay out of his way cause he will take it out on anyone around him - no matter who it is. He just as a short temper so hopefully when he fights, he will be angry so he won't lose.
As Sirius Black drew closer to the pride, the sight of water made him abandon moving forward to stop and take a drink. Paws touched the earth softly as he walked slowly toward the pool of water. Lowering his frame to the ground, he let his tongue lap up the cool crystal water before backing away and shaking his dark mane back and forth quickly and returning his body to the earth's floor."What a nice place," He said to himself, dark chocolate tinted optics glancing about the territory with much interest. Rather tall twin towers that rested firmly a top the brutes tiara, swiveled around listening to the world around him. The sounds of birds and other hoofed animals were the only objects he could hear at this time. No feline sounds were coming to his attention, and for some reason Black found that oddly strange. "Interesting," the male mumbled to himself, orbs scanning across the lands again hoping to catch sight of anyone, but hopefully not the ruler.
No he wouldn't call him just yet. The suspense was killing him though. Rising from the ground where he laid he walked away from the pool of water and back toward the way he came as if he was leaving - but he wasn't. Oh no. Black wasn't giving up just yet. The fight hadn't even started anyway. Moving forward, he stopped by a bush where the scent of the ruler's was, Black marked it with his own something males lions did when coming upon a land they wanted. By doing this, some rulers ran off scared of the fight, but other times it pissed off the ruler and thats what Black was trying to do. When the deed was done Sirius moved off to another bush and did the same thing he did before. With a smirk blooming across his face, he moved his frame around and trotted back toward the pool of water.
When he reached there he halted for a moment. Touching one paw to the water it made small ripples moving in all directions. Taking a deep breath, Black put another paw into the water, and then the rest of his paws. The water didn't look deep, and even if it was who cares - he knew how to swim thanks to his brother. Walking slowly now causing the water to push backward as he moved, Black soon reached the middle of the pool. And to his amazement he was right. The water was not deep at all. Returning to the other side of the pool of water, Sirius Black shook his tawny tinted pelt and looked about. It was like heaven here. With a smile crossing his handsome features, Black trotted further into the lands. It was time.
He came to a halt, and it felt as if his heart was dropping. It pounded in his chest so hard it felt as though he was going to through up. Giving his mane a toss so that it rested in it's usual place, he braced himself for the call that would change his future. Maw parted and the loudest roar Sirius had ever done broke the silence of the territory. The call was long, and powerful, holding everything the ruler needed to know about what he was doing in his lands. When the call finally ended, Sirius Black stood there, frame tense and ready for a fight of a life time. Hopefully God was on his side today. And if he wasn't, Sirius would be a rouge for the rest of his living days; well, most of his days. So I lied upon her bed, but I lie too much. I just sat, hoped for the best as I felt her touch I could've closed my eyes and wished, that it wasn't you there. I should've closed my eyes and wished. Well as soon as it had started, it felt so wrong. I would take it all back, if you knew all along that you were wrong and I was right. You were wrong, and I was right
Woah, woah. Stop right there. You and me, well we're just unaware. I don't think we're ready for this, no no. Woah woah. Take your time. We've got a while if not the rest of our lives. I dont think we're ready for this, no no.

Having watched the progress of the lion on his usual walk, Truth stopped near the male. His eyes were inquiring, his posture was dominant yet not aggressive. Looking straight into the other male's eyes with his piercingly wise look, Truth uttered simple words with the same experienced tint as his look.
Greetings...Can I help you with something, sir?
The words came out a little too menacing, although his face stayed coolly intimidating and slightly aloof. Smiling a little, Truth awaited the response of this other aggressive male. He would not give up, tenacity and perseverance that unfortunately for others were two of his brightest qualities. Truth had grown up in what some of us might call a 'bad neighborhood'. Luckily he had escaped before her had been killed, but several of his kin had been murdered. Their imaged flashed across his mind but he ignored them as he had done for his whole life. Narati and the cubs were nowhere to be seen. Good, he didn't want them to know that his leadership was at risk. If this male took over, which Truth was trying no to think about, he would not be able to maintain the land. Not because he was not an adequate leader, for he looked commanding enough, but because Suali was a large land that needed at least five lions to guard it. If Truth, Narati, Faunus, Rhian, Silke, and Jenna left then there would only be four members in the pride, including the leader. And when that happened, Truth would be back.
He would be back, when the male was struggling to keep his new pride together and he would snatch the land back. This was the way Truth's mind worked. Considerable ingenuity combined with cleverness, and the fact that he never said 'die' or 'lost cause' made him an able enemy. Smiling benignly at the other lion, Truth stretched a little. He was relaxed and yet prepared for anything. Comforted by the fact that he could take this land back by force with his numbers, Truth was willing to let this lion say his piece. Or claw his piece. Then Truth would confront him logically and tell him the facts, if he was willing to listen. If not, then this male would learn why the name 'Truth' was accompanied by screams and hushing noises in the south lands, where Truth had been born. Truth's father, Wisdom, knew almost everything there was to know as a lion. And he had taught truth everything in his power to teach. Among these skills and secret teachings was pressure points, Truth could knock this lion out with ease. But he wouldn't. Not just yet. Truth believe that every living thing should have their say, and this lion was no different. Of course, if this lion got violent, then Truth [although he truly did hate to fight] would not bother with pressure points. The neck and the jugular would be first... [/blockquote]

Kishkir sat down. Her pregnancy was taking its tole on her body. She only had a couple days left. She wanted to sit some where quiet and just relax, however the sound of two males, one of whom she did not know very well, and the other of whom she did not know at all was keeping her from relaxing of any sort. She watched the two with keen interest. If she had to she would call out to Kgosi. And she knew he would be there in an instant. If some how she got involved she would call out for him. She sighed and watched on.

ooc; i'm on a tight schedule, so let's say two posts each, no death, loser leaves the land but can challenge any time in the future. Good? :]
The appearance of the male was not a startling moment, nor did Sirius feel threated at all by the males movements. He did, however, find it strange that the male didn't seem more aggressive. Black could have bet money that the ruler would come pissed off and ready to tare him limb from limb, but this male had another approach on life. Frame didn't relax, but tensed more, thinking that this was all a joke and the male was going to spring into action with the slightest indication. Nevertheless, Black stood there showing no weakness' nor friendly posture. It wasn't as if they were going to have a tea party or something. Pfff.
Dark voids rolled in their cages as the males words fell into affect. Auds pricked forward, and his attention was on him and only him even though the smell of a lioness creped into his nose. She was no threat to him, so he didn't bother glancing at her."No you can't," His words were icy cold and not pleasant at all. It wasn't the time to be all goody goody with a male who stood in his way of being a ruler."I've to challenge you for your pride," It was that simple. Why beat around the bush when you can just be straight forward with the male. Sirius Black wasn't looking for a conversation.
"You and I only. No others joining in. Understand?" He added moments later raising a brow and making it loud enough for both him and the female to hear. If the brute couldn't fight on his own then he shouldn't even be a ruler, but Sirius knew that the male wouldn't bring anyone else in for he looked like a strong leader who could fight on his own. With a small flick of a smirk, Sirius stood back and watched the male with keen eyes."Shall we get started then?"
ooc; we can just say this is done, i don't want to hold things up :[

|ooc| Good. Tell me if I screw up, I've never fought over any kind of territory before. | A whispering sigh escaped his toothy maw, Truth would fight. And by god, he would win. But he never understood why this depraved male had to claim Truth's pride. It was not the strongest, and all it's members had come to Truth for their own reasons, but it had taken Truth so long to put it all together...But enough of such thoughts. For he would not let go of Suali! He would keep her. To his first words, the king murmured in a voice that sounded as if he was replying to a statement made by a beloved son of his, instead of a rival.
I know you have come to me for my pride, I saw you putting your scent on my land. There is no need to explain.
Smiling at Sirius Black in a very surprising way, again as if Black was his oldest and most honored son.
I understand a great many things, Sirius Black, not the least of which is that no others join in a battle between two rivals.
Truth was not psychic. He was intelligent, and there was a subtle difference. Sirius Black was a lion that had been the leader of Misitu a little while ago. His lady, Asuka, had gone missing and his pride had fallen apart. This male fit the description of such a 'Sirius Black' and if he was not, then Truth would had no need to resond in any other way than with a swift claw across the heart. Truth hated to think what would become of his beloved Suali in the hands of this lion, for he had not taken very good care of his other pride. His reasons for letting his mate and pride go were his own though, and not being a particularly nosy lion, Truth would not press Black for information. Catching the smirk and returning it with another benevolent smile of his own.
'Shall we get started then?' A curious phrase...And spoken with a bravado that Truth would not expect from a lion that had lost almost everything that was important to him in such a short time. Yes...He was ready. Without warning, Truth darted forward with speed that was made to seem quicker than it was by the fact that he had been stationary for a full 10 minutes before hand. His leap carried him close enough to Black to give him a sound cuff but not close enough to really dig him in the face, or in fact to allow a retaliatory swipe to touch him. Landing by the male, Truth did what he had planned and thumped Black around the face with his claws out, pressure points clear in the experienced leader's mind. |ooc| Just as a note, Truth aimed to scrape Sirius' face, but I'm not saying he actually touched Black. Gives you a fair chance to dodge . |
