:: It took everything within Ibalo to not prance into these lands, he was so excited to be able to start a family and with Lothril of all people. She brought out an entirely new side of him, and whether or not that was good...well that was open to debate. Stereotypically it was, he was happier and generally nicer simply by her presance. Sure, it was cheesy, corny and outside of his personality to say so...but it needed to be said. Simply the fact that she made him smile when his amber eyes opened in the morning was reason enough for her to be his queen and to rule beside him all of his days. Love at first sight? If it wasn't possible, this was as close as it got to that. And he took careful precations to make sure that nothing came in between him and his goal of happiness and family. He walked a few steps ahead of Lothril on the way here, not because he was in a hurry at all, but because he wanted to get to the breeding lands first. He knew what went on here when males were not around to protect their lionesses, and he was not about to risk that with his queen.

Once they were safely within the area, he took special care in making sure the surrounding area was just as safe. Was he being paranoid? Probably, and with a sign he resigned to himself that such emotions were making him go insane. With that he returned to the side of his queen, his smile and eyes becoming just a bit brighter. He nuzzled her softly and tenderly, a deep purr eminating as he pressed his side up next to her. He raised his head slightly to lick the tender spots behind her ears, enjoying the time alone with her.

Touched, and slightly amused, at the care Ibalo was showing in getting her safely to the breeding lands, Lothril walked slowly behind him before coming to a stop. The love in his amber eyes was easily seen, and when he licked the back of her ears, a delicious shiver ran through her. For a moment, she just sat there, enjoying this intimate time with him. The lands around them were peaceful and no one would be bothering them anytime soon. She licked his cheek before nudging him. I am ready. Then rising, she led him to the most secluded area to be found.
