A white tail twitch from the dry grass. A twig snapped under the 4 month old cubs foot. Shoot She yelled as the grass hopper she was stalking hopped away. She looked back at her mother Sunset who was watching closely as she ran through the grass. She pounced on a leaf from a near by tree but let it go and kept running Don't go to far Aubrey! The white cub heard her mother say. She let out a little roar to her mother before running as fast as her little legs could take her. She flopped to the ground, her sides heaving. She was different and knew it, and by the teasing she got from other cubs she knew she would never fit in. She sighed and closed her eyes as her mother walked over and began to lick her tiny body.
