Silke.xx Lost In Darkness.xx
Silke catiously placed one paw infront of the other. The world was surrounded in darkness and all she could hear was the roaring of sand being thrown by the wind. What ever trees were there were being bent and played with. Sand battered the white cat's pelt. Her small body could be seen shaking even in the midst of a sand storm. Silke was young, a mere cub who would simply die out in the desert. If no one came. Her father, Truth, was busy fighting and her mother.. had her hands full with two other cubs. Silke couldn't even remember how she had got out here in the first place. Oh yes, Rhian had told her to go out and find some food for their game. Rhian taunted Silke, who she knew was blind, until she left the safety of the den and sped far away and was finally lost. She let out a few pitifull mews before hunkering her body down and waiting to die.

x.X I Came Looking X.x x.X For The One Who Always Listens X.x x.X To The Tales Of My Everlasting Agony X.x Breath coming in ragged gasps, the medium built cub tumbled along the ground. Eye tearing from the pain. The uneven, soft ground seemed to tip and swing underneath his feet. It was different from the firm ground of Eiroka, where he had been raised and certainly not the beautiful Suali. It was a nasty place, and it's dry winds made him choke. His blasted lungs! A gust of air made him topple, his weak frame curling up with the pain. The blood didn't come though, which Faunus was thankful for. The crimson liquid only came when the cub got emotional for whatever reason. When he was very worried, or angry or when he remembered something that made him very upset.
Faunus heard the cried he had been hoping to hear. He was bigger than any of his siblings, both because he was a male and because his build was simply bigger. He was still young but he was a strapping young lad and already had good looks. Not like his father, Truth, but like the true father he didn't know about. Kalu. The young cub's coat was darker and chocolate colored, his eyes a greenish brown. Rushing to the sounds, he found a small white shape that was curled pitifully in the middle of this wasteland.
Silke! Silke! It's Faunus! Over here!
He called shrilly as he leapt forward. Silke was special to him. The other healthy cubs, Jenna and Rhian, always had the advantage but Silke and himself...They were underpriveliedged. And he liked the fact that they were treated all equally, but sometimes he wished that Silke had it easier. Being blind was not easy, even though she coped fine. Surviving and living are two different things though. Faunus and Silke survived. Jenna and Rhian lived. " But I will make sure we both live later on! I won't always be small! In a few months I'll be a year and then I can go out and do something-- Well anything really... "
Reaching his little sister, Faunus curled up around her a little. Licking her white head lovingly, the dark chocolate of his coat clashing with her white one. Scolding her a little for running off her batted the side of her head half chastisingly, half affectionately. Picking her up from her scruff, she was so small it was easy even thought they were the same age, Faunus said through a mouthful of her fur.
Don't run off like that! I was very worried!
Grabbing a little more of her scruff so that she was more comfortable, Faunus ran off through the desert. It was tiring and after a while he collapsed. Feeling grumpy, Faunus looked around and said loudly, more to himself than the other cub.
Great! Now we're good and lost!
It wasn't her fault. But Faunus wanted to blame anybody but himself for getting them lost and so he chose to blame Silke in his mind for running off and making him rescue her. [/blockquote][/sub]
