Kishkir smiled and watched as the femme moved off. She had her own buisness to attend to. She got up stretching her tight body and walked on growling at her cubs to follow, which they did, obidiently. She watched as her cubs ran out infront of her. Could Honor and Pride meet loyalty? She pondered this for a moment. She was unsure of this. And that scared her.

(Kgosi's back. Man, I haven't roleplayed in a long time. Here goes nothin')
"Don't be afraid, her words speak some truth, but you won't have to bear then alone," a deep, smooth voice, whispered. Deep in the shadows, there lie a male lion by the name of Kgosi. He had ran off like a coward when he first saw his cubs, overjoyed and afraid of being a father figure. He finally was ready to own up to his position of father and devoted mate that he first thought that he would be. How could he leave Kishkir like that with two cubs?
Kgosi hated himself at the moment and didn't feel like showing his face to Kishkir or his cubs. He had watched them romp in the grass, and his green eyes set upon his beautiful mate. He was an idiot. But, from what she said, she seemed like Because wasn't completely out of her life. Was he? Did that mean Kgosi would be pushed to the side? That female called Dancer had made sense. "Is it true? Do you still love him?" Kgosi asked from the shadows.
His green eyes flickered with hate as the word 'him' crossed his lips. Obviously, Kgosi still harbored animosity towards Because too. But, Kgosi couldn't jump to conclusions, he would have to be civil and figure this out logically.

Kishkir turned to the cool autum voice. "I do still love him. But that doesn't change the fact that I have cubs, nor that you are my mate. And that I love you." She said turning to face him. She got up and walked over towards where her mate lay. "Where did you go?" She asked sitting down only a few inches away from where he lay. "It scared me when you left. I prayed to the gods that you were alright." She said. "Do you regret being a father?" She asked looking into his cool eyes with her vibrant ones.
"We can't undo this! And I don't feel like that was a mistake." She finally said after a moment of silence. An uncomfortable one. "These are our cubs Kgosi. And we can't undo that." She said.

Kgosi couldn't help but smile. He reached a big paw from where he was, not quite ready to show face. "That means a lot to me Kishkir, I love you too," So Kgosi's cover was blown, but what did he expect? He couldn't hide like a coward forever. "I ran, yes, and I'll make that up to you in some way, I promise, but I wasn't sure that being a father was the right thing. I mean, I know they are mine, and always will be, but something inside me was fearful. I took to my instincts and ran. But, during that time, I realized, I can't leave my family like this. I don't regret being a father, especially sitting here looking at what we created. They're beautiful and you, you're as stunning as ever."
Kgosi /finally/ stepped from his hiding place. "I can be a dad and mate, because I don't want to lose you, but the question is will you have me? You have reason to be mad at me, but...."Kgosi rolled on his back, paws at his chest,"....Kishkir, I'm begging for your forgiveness."

She smiled at his words and warmth came to her soul and heart. "I glad we won't regret them." She said. "I will have you!" She said purring. "You don't need to ask for forgivness. There is nothing to forgive. I am just glad you are back in my life." She said. She purred and rubbed the top of her head along the bottem of his jaw line. She watched as the cubs ran over to where they stood and began jumping up and down wanting their father's attention. She smiled and licked Kgosi on the cheek.

"My Kishkir...I love you so much,"Kgosi said and gave a wide smile. This is the life he wanted so badly. He realized how close he was to losing it. Kgosi purred softly as well, closing his green eyes and absorbing Kishkir's wamrth. Kgosi folded back his ears and nuzzled Kishkir back. He laid plenty of licks on his mate, so happy to reunited. But, the chocolate male's eyes opened wide when he heard the small pitter patter of small paws. He flipped over and stood to his paws, just looking at his cubs. Kgosi nuzzled his cubs happily and licked each one on the head. The chocolate male was exuberant to be surrounded by the family he so loved and cared for. It was it good feeling.

Kishkir watched with a happy heart. The first one that she had had in a long time. She watched her cubs surround their father and she chuckled lightly. "You see, they are happy to see you!" She said purring loudly. "I love you too." She assured her mate. Nothing could change the feelings for her cubs. And if this for some reason was not the life Kgosi would chose. Kishkir would and could raise their cubs on her own. It was entirly in fates hands now.

"Aw look at my big boy and big girl. You are growing up so fast." Kgosi could see it now, his cubs getting older and learning to hunt and protect themselves. There would be many trials along the way, that was for sure, but Kgosi wanted to be there to help solve them. He hated being seperated and lonely. Kgosi kind of, way deep down, felt sorry for Because. He had been stripped of the life that Kgosi was now wallowing in. They could Hitomi and Kuwat could've been Because's cubs instead of Kgosi's. But they were his.
The chocolate male put his head down slightly, just thinking for a second. He could've ended up exactly the same way. Lonely, sad and just a mess. Kgosi was thankful for whomever was watching over himself and his family. For whatever reason, Kishkir had found him at an opportune moment. Any longer and Kgosi would've been sitting on his rump, wondering what become of his family and if he would've been happy with them. Right now, Kgosi was. He had a lovely mate, and two adorable cubs. They would grow strong, the male was sure, and they would be rulers of these lands, and possibly others, someday.
A small smirk crossed the large lion's features. He swatted a big paw at Kuwat and then Hitomi, all the while being careful not to harm them. Kgosi's emerald green eyes were happily watching them play and jump around.' Well Kgosi, you lucked out bud,' his mind thought. Indeed he did.
