There was no way for the male to avoid leaving the lands. Deimos was only one of the male's left in the pride, and he was not able to reclaim his lands, it was against Lothril's wishes that he claimed the lands once more. The male sighed lightly. Those stupid rouges. Deimos didn't mean to leave his cubs, mate, and his queen. He simply wished to drive only two rouges out of the lands, and didn't expect to be outnumbered by the fleet of males. Seven total. That's how many Deimos killed. In protection of himself and his pride, he killed the seven males and tryed to return as fast as he could back home. But in the Lands that were unfamiliar to the male, it was hard to navigate back to the home he had come to love. He ended up tracing his own scent all over the place to get back home.
Tracing wasn't a strong point for Deimos. And now he had been all over the entire lands, so he didn't really have to worry about getting lost. The male's golden pelt shined in the Moonlight, the darkness of the night slightly hiding the male from any preditors that wanted to fight. Pupils dwelling within the golden pools dialated and absorbed as much light as they could to be able to see. His audits swivelled like radars tracking enemy aircraft. The male sniffed the ground lightly and took in the scents that lingered. None that were importent. Lothril's scent dweeled from the lands to over here, but of course, he could tell that it was a drifting scent.
Another scent caught his nares. A male, but not too close. He took in the scent fully though, making sure to identify the scent and take it in fully. His blonde and black mane spicked up, and started to be on edge as he made sure to trace the scent. It was like little arrows telling Deimos where the male had gone. He realised that this scent had been the scent of the males that had chased him. He could see himself running from the seven males, and he could see them chasing after him, one by one, the darker males chased the light colored male.. Deimos could remember the seven darker males. One of them he looked at the most. The ring leader. The one he killed off last. He was a lighter male than the other six, but still darker than Deimos, and he had only one eye, and a large scar across his face. His large golden eye contradicted his dark appearcence. Deimos was reminded of a dark wolf everytime he had to remember that face.
Deimos snapped back into the reality of the world. This was all over. This 'game' that he was forced into. The male felt safe. He felt like his mate and cubs were safe as well, sleeping silently in the cave that Deimos had found in Akina lands that was seperate from Lothril's den and the other members. He didn't want to risk Lothril's personality. He knew very well that Lothril didn't like Nkira too much, and he wasn't gonna risk Lothril's anger for Deimos. He looked around and smiled. He had found a slate rock that he could lay on. He trotted over to it, and easily leaped upon it, and layed upon it, his front paws hanging over the sides, and his tail flicking lightly

So give me all your poison And give me all your pills And give me all your hopeless hearts And make me ill
.I. Chi Satsujin padded wearily through his new homeland, huge paws making light prints in the drying ground. The brute had been admitted into the pride at the very marker between the wet and dry seasons, this odd time between the extremes a time of pleasure and relaxment. Of course now it was nearing the drier portion, with the long grass still thick, but slowly dying. Prey, the zebra and the antelope, the water buffalo and the hogs were still plentiful, although much too soon they would be heading for closer watering. Although from the brief tour the queen had given him it seemed like there was a river near by. Maybe this was the place to be during the dry months ... Maybe he'd chosen a good place to settle down in. Chi was sure he had chosen the right company, with the wise and noble Lothril. Of course, a good leader did not always mean a good pride, not completely anyway. It took a village to raise a child, and it took an ambitious youth to bring it to ruin.
.II. The scent of another male drifted to him on a warm breeze, one of the few that ruffled the golden waves. Ah, she had mentioned another brute, a former king in fact. rough times ahead my boy, rough times. Strongly Chi padded forward, his light bodiance weaving through the grass until he happened upon the very rock structure that the other sprawled out on. Chi had come in from the other's left and a partially downwind, not that there was much of a breeze, eh? A low rumble to be sure that the brute knew he was there and then Chi leaped upward, oversized bulk clearing the edge without trouble. It wasn't large, maybe big enough to support three grown lions stretched out, five they were compact, and numerous young ones scattered about. Currently, it held the other male and Chi.
.III. Slowly, almost stiffly, Chi Satsujin rolled backward onto his haunches, thick tail flung out behind him carelessly, body and skull facing toward the other. He could remember little or no mention of a name, and so he simply let loose of his tongue without thought to the words that might spew forth. "Apologies for intruding, young Sir. I am Chi Satsujin, a new member of the Akina Pride. Lothril mentioned another male ..." His tone was kind, respectful and yet tainted with his usual grief and just a taste of an unsual bitterness and possibly disdain. Somehow, he believed that this brute had some how injured the good lioness, if not mortally than an even more fatal blow to the heart. Call Chi old fashioned, but such things made him angry and often more likely to fling himself into violence and rages. Not needed he scolded himself mentally, retracting drawn claws before they could scrape on the stone.
.IV. Silently Chi waited for a responce, his light colored coat and mane almost blending in with the waves behind him. For a brief moment he wondered if Lothril was with her cubs, and for a second moment he wondered about their names and what they were like. Being new to this pride he wished to know all of its inhabitants and know them well. Somehow, he felt it was his duty, to befriend them all and care for them, whether he was the last on the ranking card or the seond highest. His first loss had been enough to give him the pressing need to know the felines. To know the lions he would risk his life for. Some how, fighting for nameless, unknown faces was heart breaking. Fighting for friends, fighting for family, could give one the fuel to survive, provided the other could not see the young eyes of a daughter, or the solemn eyes of a friend, or the strong frightening eyes of a vengeful brother. Silent he stayed, feeling this tug to know the brute, whether he ended up feeling kinship and respect or not. At least he would not wonder. At least ...
You wanna follow something Give me a better cause to lead Just give me what I need Give me a reason to believe

OOC:Shit post
Alert audits swiveled like radars. His auds picked up something. Swishing of the calm waters, and unfamilar pads thumping against the earth. They were heavy, he could tell. Audits pulled back but eyes remained closed. He ignored the sound of the pads until he caught the scent. It was a male. Deimos's head shot up and defense, and his mane spiked out, becoming on edge, and his claws unsheathing. He was in full defense, he wasn't about to be attacked again by another group of males. The scent was on one, and the padding was of one, but he wasn't about to take any chances. Nares took in the scent fully, and he huffed heavly as his golden orbs picked up the sight of the male. His audits picked up the sound of a low rumble from the male's chest.
Deimos let out a low growl and a threating spit. Deimos was on gaurd especially with this male, he hadn't seen him around the lands before, and didn't like rouges. His golden optics narrowed at the male as he watched him move back onto his haunches. His defense dropped almost instantly as the male showed himself almost sumbmissivly. Deimos huffed lightly and looked at the male with a slight dislike in his optics. " What of it?" he asked and pulled his audits back as he watched the male closely.
Deimos layed his head back down on his paws, but made sure to watch the other male closely, his guard reparing itself as the older male sat by this one.
