In the Grip of Stronger Stuff
they were, every single last one of them. On Earth and beyond, invisible to the human eye, a war waged between two Great Goddesses; the first, Amora Ne Elazha Lelethe, was the Goddess of Love and Creation. She wished to protect Nature and Life on Earth - to keep it from being overtaken by hatred, apathy, and pain. Her sister, Aris, Goddess of Pain and Destruction, chose to live in Hell, where she could not see the sky and the abhorrent Amora's abode, the Shimmerwood, above.
The twin Goddesses did not move against each other on Earth; that would have been like two elephants tap-dancing on a fly - and they were equally matched in power. So they sent the creatures in their Service - Amora's beautiful wolflike Servants and Aris's terrifying Hellhounds - to battle it out. And battle they did, until there was a great war that wiped almost all of the Servants and Hellhounds out.
Now, of course, Aris and Amora have been busily creating more - but the choice is always yours - which side will you choose?
